On the occasion of Hape Kerkeling's 50th birthday, the "Gala Film" tells the story of the adventurous preparations in Berlin's Friedrichstadt-Palast for a lavish gala show that will, of course, never take place. Barbara Schöneberger takes on the role of the presenter and Hape himself appears as the chaotic director of the supposed "show", as his incompetent manager and as a pushy journalist.

Since Biggi and Wolle are unhappy without each other, they get back together and start anew.

A cheerfully turbulent GDR TV comedy about a group of elderly people who organize their lives with courage and cheerfulness. Trude and her male senior citizens want to redesign a dilapidated old construction trailer in their new residential area to create a nostalgic arbor. Inspired by the term "construction-related art", they also gave their house on wheels a highly artistic exterior façade. And should any problems arise during the realization of the project: "Don't despair, ask Trudchen"! Not only is he looking for a buyer for his house and hires Marlies' daughter Lia, of all people, who is an estate agent, but in the best Swedish tradition of 'everyman's right', he also wants to reopen the old riverside path, which Marlies had closed years ago, to the general public. The dispute between the two neighbors rekindles an old argument with the village community about access to the lake.
