Teenagers Max and Uli are old friends and hang out together. When they discover a lonely phone booth, the crowning glory of the evening is clear: hotboxing! But the joint is hardly lit, when a police patrol turns up. Panicked, the boys barricade themselves in the phone booth. But the officers don’t even think about leaving. They lie in wait, they have time, they call for reinforcements. The escalation of the police quickly becomes a test of endurance for the trapped youths. Do-ah initiates a lawsuit against her husband's uncle who takes away a piece of land that her husband's grandfather left them. Do-ah decides to initiate the lawsuit, unable to stand by when the land and medicine business that her family has worked so hard to realize is stolen before her eyes. But she has no material evidence, and she knows nothing about legal procedures or what to do in court, leading to an extremely difficult situation for her. However in the midst of these troubles, she is reminded of the mysterious and rare treasure that can be used to solve any situation and to locate the expansive at land inside of her which she used to know.

Nena is a young woman obsessed with her appearance and with the idea of growing old. Influenced by a culture that turns female aging into something to fear, she develops an anxious relationship with both the mirror and her own body. When she buys an anti-wrinkle cream in an attempt to stop time, she begins to realise that her struggle is futile. During a visit to her grandmother, she encounters an elderly woman who is happy, confident and at peace with herself. This meeting changes Nena’s perspective: aging stops being a monster and becomes a natural continuation of life.

A father and son have nothing in common except a first name, Richard, and an apartment on a housing estate. The burly, good-natured, 30-something factory worker listens to heavy metal and occasionally lets his girlfriend into his life. The frail, retired teacher, who raised the boy after his mother’s departure, is the embodiment of care and understanding. However, their tranquil, shared reality, which embraces both the hardcore band Našrot and Bergman’s “Cries and Whispers,” is disrupted by the sudden death of the mother.
