All Dogs Go to Heaven

When a casino-owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven. Wanting to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing so damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy, to prep his retaliation. He stumbles upon an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins to finance his plans. However, all the while, he is still haunted by nightmares of what's waiting for him on the other side unless he can prove that he is worthy of Heaven again.

Set in the South just after the US Civil War, Laurel Sommersby is just managing to work the farm without her husband, believed killed in battle. By all accounts, Jack Sommersby was not a pleasant man, thus when he suddenly returns, Laurel has mixed emotions. It appears that Jack has changed a great deal, leading some people to believe that this is not actually Jack but an imposter. Laurel herself is unsure, but willing to take the man into her home, and perhaps later into her heart.

Psalms and Lamentations is a short film depicting the depth of pain and grief that we so often find in life caused by the struggle of sin, along with, how that relates to our walk with God. Much of the script is derived from the books, Psalms, lamentations, Job, Johna and other books of the Bible. It is unlike most films in that it exist to relate to the pain and not to the joy in our lives. This provides a very unique viewing experience. Some people find this film extremely deep and moving while others can see the depth but don't feel it as much. Much of how deep it is for someone is hevaly determined by what someone's self talk sounds like. Film available on YouTube
