Amor sin ciudad

Madrid is the meeting point of eleven stories of people in physical and spiritual transit. Eleven honest and direct stories, young and necessary as their protagonists, that arise from the pedagogical, therapeutic and cinematographic experience of the Inside Cinema School organized by Pedro Sara and Violeta Pagán (The sensitive ages of light) in Matadero Madrid. Eleven new stories that speak of life and hopes, of borders and territories, of growth and survival. An exciting polyphonic story that brings us closer to the here and now.

Estado de sitio

Two very young women live in a country house in the midst of war. The older of the two is the active one, the one who dominates and controls everything that happens in the house. The younger woman is the victim, dominated by the bombings and her companion's mentality, which forces her to maintain impeccable, unhealthy behavior. This conflict between the two is narrated by a voiceover—that of the younger woman—who, now at a distance, reflects on that period of her life.

Otoño

Juan is an elderly man returning home by train who meets a young woman on the journey and strikes up a conversation with her. The conversation revolves around his profession as a railway worker and the landscape through which the train travels, but above all, Juan talks about love: love for his wife, for the life he has lived, and for commuter trains as a place for meeting and conversation, because there was a time when the important thing about the journey was not the destination, but who was traveling beside you.

David

New short film by José Ramón Samper Bernad, which has been produced by Artegalia Films, and shot in Alicante. The film gives a unique and particular view of the world of male prostitution, in the hands of two characters: a mature man who seeks pleasure through the vision of nakedness and the beauty of a young scoundrel. But the story goes further and makes a reflection on beauty and its loss through the passage of the years, in old age, and as youth is the canon of desired and revered beauty. Young bodies are synonymous with beauty, and the taboos of our society limit the admiration of such young beauty by the elders.
