The Barge of Happy People

The girl Marianne inherited a motorboat called “Eintracht” from her parents and struggled to get her to drive it with her uncle. There is a row with the new engineer Michel the evening after the first trip. He leaves - out of jealousy. Instead of him, Marianne takes three funny musicians with her who are looking for work. The trip to Hamburg on the Elbe initially ends on a sandbank, from which another barge, the "Petrel", frees them. Michel has now been hired there. After a few complications and pointless fights, because Marianne has long been in love with Michel, there is the well-deserved happy ending.

Early Days

Early Days follows the early life of famous Czech writer Alois Jirásek. Jirásek had already developed his own view of the history of the Czech nation while he was at grammar school in Broumov. When he becomes the supply teach in Litomyšl, he has already written his first book and a number of poems. The local dignitaries await the arrival of the young writer in excited anticipation. Jirásek, however, is sickened by the empty patriotism from the depths of his soul and soon becomes disagreeable to the notables. The district sheriff tries to remove Jirásek from the school and drive him out of town. Unable to do this, the sheriff appoints a pro-Austrian headmaster who attempts to sabotage Jirásek. The students stand behind Jirásek , however, and discontent is not only felt in Litomyšl but throughout Bohemia.

A mischievous young man has a relationship with a dancer. Her husband surprises him while they are together, so he takes out his gun to kill them, and during their fight a bullet is fired to hit the husband, so the young man runs away thinking that he has killed him. The young man, and confesses that he is the murderer and is surprised because the inspector does not know anything about his crime, and that he is going to attend his sister’s marriage, so the inspector decides to hand him over to justice.

The school of a remote and poor village shut down, the head master Krishna Prasanna (Chhabi) migrates to city in search of job. He moves with family, wife Labanya (Karuna), nubile daughter (Ranjana) and very young son. He takes residence with his wife's brother. He meets per chance one of his ex students, of whom he used to take free evening classes and many of whom got merit scholarship and became cream of society, a doctor, a judge, successful lawyer, manager of a big bank and so on. Can he cross the barrier and meet them? All have big bungalows and office with watchmen to stop. If he managed to meet them, will they recall his contribution and help their benefactor? If they do, what change he has to bring in himself? Can he?

Chang-hwan, who came down from the north, calls his mother and lover Sung-hee's brother and friend Sung-ho (the beneficiary) of Sung-hee, to North Korea, but they refuse to do so. When June 25 broke out, Sung-ho served as the commander of the Korean Army and was isolated in battle. However, with the participation of the UN forces, the charter is improved, and the name that saved Captain Brown from the wounded moves to join the national army. The Sung-ho party, who accidentally defeated the Changhwan Workers who brutally killed the people of his hometown, rescues Sung-hee, who was in crisis. In order to save the wounded black soldier, Sung-hee's mother loses her eyes, and Sung-hee becomes a nursing officer.
