Three Lights

Aoi is a young nursery school teacher whose fiancé leaves her. Her friend Michiko works in a call centre and has ‘lots of free time, but little freedom’. She no longer interacts with her husband, aside from the occasional sad blow job. Then there’s her attractive tennis teacher Masaki, with whom she’s having an affair that’s conducted when they’re pulled up in parking lots. And finally there’s his friend K., a self-proclaimed genius with authoritarian tendencies.

Samuel, Joaquín and Marcos, are three old friends living their lives in downtown Bogotá. They spend their days between Lasker – the legendary chess club, The Caribbean Casino, and La Normanda – a traditional coffee shop. Samuel, 53, is a professional chess player that lives of betting on small matches he knows he will win. His best friend is Joaquín, 65, an accomplished watch-maker who’s about to loose the workshop he inherited from his father. And then there’s Marcos, 72, a Spanish homeopath devoted to finding a formula to win poker matches. These three men have found shelter in the safety of their routines, avoiding to facing up to their failures. But a time comes when they are confronted by reality and causes them to stagger.

The Path of Our Dream (Armenian: Մեր երազանքի ճանապարհը) is an Armenian drama. The film premiered in the Armenian theaters on December 19, 2015.[1] The film consists of 7 parts.[2] Each part has its own storyline and director. Some parts of the movie are shot in Turkey and France. Edgar Baghdasaryan's film titled The Path of Simon won the main prize at the European festival of short films.[3] The Moscow premiere of the film was on 6 February, 2018.

In the 1960s, António, an agent of the PIDE, is assigned to follow Aurora to Paris, a young woman suspected of oppositionism. It is May 1968, and during the student revolt, the two young people fall in love. Back in Porto, their forbidden passion ends abruptly. For decades, António writes Aurora letters that she keeps unopened. When the correspondence is unexpectedly interrupted, both give up on life. Based on the director's novel entitled "A Casa Azul" (The Blue House).

Beat Him Up

Beat Him Up focuses on issues of bullying and mental health, exploring the profound ways in which guilt and repressed emotions can change and ruin lives. Set in a Taiwanese high school, the film follows the weak-willed Zhang Shi-hao, who becomes jealous when a new transfer student called Lin Yu-en steals his girlfriend and eventually gets her pregnant. Although Zhang is too meek to take revenge, his best friend A-Yang sets up a brutal attack on Lin with a group of other boys. The timid Zhang joins in, releasing his pent up anger and frustration, feeling a sense of satisfaction afterwards, which turns to shock and guilt when Lin collapses and dies during a PE lesson the next day. Blaming himself, the tormented Zhang decides to confess, though fate has something else in store for him. Through Zhang's personal journey, the film examines the process of redemption, asking the question whether guilt can be a positive force, pushing us to rise above our shortcomings.

This story relates to such a village where the houses have no facility of toilets and there are two different laws for men and women relating to fixation of time to go to the village toilet. In such a situation, Uganti has to face many problems and her husband Shambhu wants to help her yet he cannot. He cant cross the boundaries of the village laws. At last, Uganti herself finds a solution to her problems and for that, she has to face immense insult and humiliation. Her husband then feels her grievance and takes steps to help her, ignoring the rules of the village society. This story attacks those policies of society where there are double standards and where women are not treated as human beings.
