The drama is based on the life of the Manchu princess Kawashima Yoshiko, who served as a spy for the Kwantung Army and as a military leader for Manchukuo. The former actress/singer Ri Kouran (also known as Yamaguchi Yoshiko), on the other hand, was a Japanese woman born in China, where she initially built her career as an actress. Although the two were of different generations, they were said to be closely linked at one point.

In the heart of Osaka's old neighborhoods lies a run-down apartment building known as "Copo." An unscheduled late night train arrives at Tokyo station on 15 August, the anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II. Boarding the train are spirits of great men who died honourable deaths in the war more than 60 years ago. They have come to the modern world to see their homeland as a peaceful country and to tell the lingering spirits of the war dead about the current conditions.

The theme of the story is first love. The film depicts a variety of first loves, but the happily ever after begins to take an unsettling turn, and the first love takes a sudden turn in an unexpected direction. The film is a story in which 17 actors were initially chosen, and then cast in roles and written for each actor based on his or her individuality.

Leading Nepalese film scholar and Tokyo University of Information Sciences professor Ito Toshiaki serves as the first Japanese director and screenplay writer for a Nepalese film in this mid-length feature film. Screened in Kathmandu and recipient of the National Film Award from the Nepal government and the Nepal Short Film Critic's Award. A couple visits a mountain village in Nepal to put on a puppet theater performance. A young boy named Ramesh is brought to the festival being held in the village by his grandma Maya. There, he meets a girl named Nisha who wears the same ethnic attire as his grandmother.

Every morning Murauchi greets the empty desk, “Good morning, Noguchi.” This causes a ripple beyond the classroom and among other teachers and parents, but Murauchi will not stop doing it. Eventually the day comes when Murauchi must leave.
