He had a Seven-Colored carnation, trying to monopolize all the Seven-Colored carnations on the island, but was stolen by a great wizard. Will Shimajiro and his friends be able to escape from the Great Wizard together with Mirror and will it be possible to get Seven-Colored Carnation back?

I videotaped materials collected during fieldwork on the theme of stripes, printed them out on a video printer, and then animated them. This is why the images are grainy. I wasn't satisfied with the final result, so I kept it unreleased until now. In uploading it to YouTube, I selected and re-edited only the cuts that I deemed watchable. I cut out all the unnecessary parts, so the length of the work is quite short. The background music is Japanese festival music.

The Acorns and the Wildcat is a unique short film in picture-book format from the creator of Night on the Galactic Railroad and Gauche the Cellist. Unusually for an anime, a narrator reads Kenji's story aloud while the action is played out on the screen by a succession of warm and evocative illustrations brought to life by subtle touches of animation. If the film feels somehow familiar yet you can't put your finger on the reason why, it's probably the sumptuously minimalist animation by Yasuhiro Nagura, who was the animation director of Mamoru Oshii's artsy 1986 feature Angel's Egg. That, and Kenji's wildcat is said to have been the inspiration for Miyazaki's Panda/Totoro creature. The idea of reading Kenji's story aloud instead of playing it out as a drama is quite refreshing, and Kenji's magical language and narrative style are entirely sufficient to sustain interest. Combined with the spacey music and breathtaking art, the result is a pleasantly unassuming little gem of a film.

The story will depict Joe Shimamura and the other cyborgs' struggle with the Bresudo, a group of people who possess superhuman powers and intellect, and have manipulated human history since ancient times. Their goals are unknown, and they cast a dark shadow over the world. Though few people believe in the Bresdo's existence, one American journalist named Lucie Davenport heads to Texas to contact a certain family, and she meets the cyborgs. The cyborgs themselves have been freed from their duty of protecting humanity ever since the establishment of the UN Guardian troops, and they now live quiet lives of peace.

A monster brings damages and threat to the town and he hopes the little boy and his friends Gromo and Roxane can put an end to these troubles. But to succeed, Martin will have to accept his uncontrollable transformations.

The Ishinomori Manga Museum released an animated short directed by Takuya Inaba based on Shotaro Ishinomori's semi-autobiographical and wordless manga Jun: Shotaro no Fantasy World. The short was inspired by Ishinomori's hometown of Ishinomaki wishing to pay tribute to the work while also paying tribute to the ongoing rebuilding and recovery of Ishinomaki from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami of March 2011.

After a while, the weather turned cloudy and it started to rain. When the rain stopped, the ground was covered with dates. The hedgehog who had just experienced the wind and rain saw the jujube, rolled over excitedly and stabbed himself with thorns, ready to carry it home.

Nobuko eventually convinces them to let her keep it. She and her brother Makoto name the cat Kuro. Kuro quickly brings joy and laughter to the family. As World War II takes its toll on Japan, it becomes harder for Nobuko and her family to care for Kuro. One August morning, Kuro begins acting strangely...

While at the riverbank looking for fossils, Rintarou meets a boy named Toshi, and their days of adventure begins.

It's a story about a frog, who is eager to make his companions stand as a line. He is the only one who wears an armlet, and has a little different skin color from the other frogs. This work focus on the relationship between "rulers" and "ruled ones", and describes the consequences of some unexpected events.
