The Journey of Immortality

The story surrounds a young boy called Obaid. He is confronted with a choice to live an easy life in this world or to struggle for reward in the hereafter. The story takes place during the tyrannical rule of King Narsis, who controls his people by encouraging them to worship idols and frightening them with the magic of Cinatas, his evil sorcerer. Cinatas chooses Obaid to be his student, someone who will assist him in his magic. At first, the boy is tempted by dreams of the power and the influence he will wield as the king's next sorcerer. But, soon after he starts to question his priorities. He begins talking to a righteous and a very holy man, who opens his mind to the true meaning of life.

Baby-Cue

Baby is a tiny doll who lives in the perpetually dark Niteworld. The only light place left is the theme park Welcomeworld, the creation of Baby's long lost father. Baby travels to see him and wreaks havoc with the help of her special powers, a supply of jelly beans and her mysterious friends. Can she destroy the ultra-powerful, mega-rich 'nice-guy-in-a-sweater'? This film takes place in a dystopian world slightly different from our own, where houses are made out of candy, Michael Jackson is an ice-cream man, and Reality TV stars face consequences for their actions.

Light of Uncertainty

Using the methods developed in the making of the Divertimenti (plus back-projection), Clive made a new ambitious piece for BBC2 and S4C. It was about the use the modern spirit might make of the seventy five year old news from quantum physics, and for the first time made use of specially shot live action material back projected into the multi-plane image. In March 1998 at the National Film Theatre, Light of Uncertainty won Best Film at the Cutting Edge at the British Animation Awards. It was nominated for an award at Bradford Animation Festival in the category "Professional" and appeared at several prestigious International film festivals. It has appeared twice on BBC2; once on its own, and once as part of "5 films by Clive Walley" along with four of the previous series. It won Best Animation at Avanca, Portugal.
