An anime based on characters from the strip mahjong arcade game "Super Real Mahjong 2".

This extremely brief film was Osamu Tezuka's answer to a challenge presented to the leaders of the international animation community to create animated self-portraits.

On an evening lit by a crimson full moon, an ordinary high school girl named Mei Ayazuki meets a self-proclaimed magician named Charlie at a festival. Through Charlie's magic, she time-travels to the Meiji era in Tokyo, where she meets and falls in love with various great historical figures from that time period.

A man applying for refugee status in Japan was told falsely that, "If you work in the decontamination effort, your visa will be extended," following the accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. "ALARA" was created based on this incident.

When the villainous Lady Kahn starts building an army of super-powerful espers, Colonel Ryu Yamaki is dispatched to recruit the most powerful superhuman in the known universe to help oppose her. Unfortunately, the esper known only as Locke has either never heard the "with great powers come great responsibilities" speech or he simply doesn't care, and he refuses to leave his peaceful civilian life herding sheep. However, when Lady Kahn makes a preemptive move to take Locke and Ryu out of the picture, the irritated superbeing quickly changes his mind. Now the bad guys are about to learn that starting a fight with someone with super powers that include teleportation, a nearly indestructible force field and space martial arts was a very big mistake!

A 2001 Japanese short anime family film based on the popular manga and anime series, Doraemon. It premiered on March 10, 2001 in Japan on a bill with Doraemon: Nobita and the Winged Braves. The movie's original plot was written by Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko.

The plot relays between a large cast of people affected in some way by the phenomenon; usually Lil' Slugger's victims or the detectives assigned to apprehend him. Kiku-chan to Ookami, one of the Sensou Douwa wartime specials, follows a young Japanese settler girl in Manchukuo, Japan’s puppet state in occupied northeast China, during the final days of World War II. As Soviet forces enter Manchuria and Japan’s colonial rule collapses, Kiku’s family joins other settlers fleeing south toward Korea in the hope of returning to Japan. When Kiku falls ill with measles, the refugee group abandons her, leaving her behind to die. Alone in the wilderness, Kiku is found by an old wolf who first sees her as prey. But as the wolf watches over the helpless child, hunger gives way to a strange, fragile bond. With soldiers, fire, illness, and starvation closing in, can Kiku survive long enough to be found?

The Japanese representative robot, demonstrated at the venue of the International Giant Robot Exhibition in Odaiba, goes out of control due to an unknown cause and destroys buildings around the venue. The police and Japan Self-Defence force cannot stop the robot, and the American and Russian robots are sent out to save the situation along with the request from Japanese government and the exhibition association office.

In a sci-fi adaptation of the Chinese novel Journey to the West, Princess Aurora and her cyborg companions Kugo, Djorgo, and Hakka must travel to the planet of the Great King in order to restore the Galaxy Energy and return peace to the universe. On their journey, they encounter a planet decimated from attacks by space monsters, against whom the last survivors now seek vengeance.

The magazine "Cafe Guide" comes to "Cafe Lucky Cat", located on the first floor of the Butt Detective's office, for an interview, but the owner hurts his back, so Butt Detective takes over as owner for the day. The interview was going smoothly when a huge amount of sweet potatoes, eggs, fresh cream, and butter that the owner had mistakenly ordered arrived at the shop. Butt Detective and his team are surprised by the mountain of ingredients. In order not to waste the ingredients, Butt Detective decides to work with everyone in town to make a super-sized sweet potato.

Hyōtei Gakuen's strange (but impossibly wealthy) captain Atobe Keigo decides to throw a giant party for his friend and teammate Kabaji. He invites both friends and rivals. Together they participate in many different sports and events: dancing, swimming, soccer, a relay race, a haunted house, and more.

Take the characters from a number of sci-fi based animes, a stage not unlike "Wacky Races," super deformed madness, and general insanity and what you get is Scramble Wars. While Scramble Wars does include characters from the original Bubblegum Crisis, Gall Force and Genesis Survivor Gaiarth, it also has a few other characters from other animes such as AD Police and Riding Bean.

She gives him a carrot, he expresses his gratitude by hitting on her... and she hits back. The young man leaves behind a key to another dimension where everybody's possible futures exist. Lum and Ataru join Shinobu to find the bunny boy, and happy futures for themselves.
