Faced with dark-in-your-room monsters, scary sounds and other things that go bump in the night, a child learns to invoke "room noodles" to banish the monsters.

Still in the delivery room, he started singing his song. And on he went his entire life. The song is not ugly, the voice is not unpleasant, but everything is constantly the same. He is trying to blend in, but it always ends in disapproval, kicking out, beating, harsh reaction. Nevertheless, he didn’t give up.

The film was produced and released under the term of chairman Mao Zedong when the cultural revolution was still ongoing. The plot backdrop is based on the National Revolutionary Army's 8th Route Army division, when it was under the control of Communist Party of China instead of the opposing Kuomintang. Despite numerous movie adaptations, this is the only animation piece ever produced on the subject. A story book was also released as a companion to the film.

Blue Racer is forced to play with a rooster's son, so Racer tries to play games with him, which usually involve Blue Racer trying to get rid of the little bird. Unfortunatly for the snake, the rooster is keeping an eye on them all the time.
