The interactions between figure and paper, animating person and animated world, and tuba and double bass lead to dynamic confrontations and balancing acts. The environment is constantly reshaped by overlapping sheets of paper. A space is created in which the figure transcends the boundaries between the frames.

A man, trapped in a white sheet, struggles on a bed as if drowning in a nightmare. In front of a similar sheet, in an empty movie theater, a mother breastfeeds her baby, immersed in deep silence. A silent film tells the story of a cow, marked with the number “432,” who wanders on a beach desperately searching for her missing calf. When the cow finds the dead calf, marked by the number “433,” the film dies with it: the sheet on which the film is projected falls onto the stage, enveloping the entire room in an even deeper silence. The number “433” evokes John Cage's famous silence, but here silence takes on a tragic meaning, representing the stillness of death. The same fate befalls the man on the bed, the embodiment of life within the film, whose movements cease simultaneously at the end of the film.

This movie expresses deep expressionism of the 20th century through it`s visuals and audio. What Kafka wanted to express in a whole 50 page book, we here expressed in 30 seconds. The so called Gregor Samsa (Samsa is actually a playword-Kafka) lays himself to sleep, as he is supernaturally awoken, through pain and angst, as an insectoid. He can now only be engulfed by this horror and scream himself only to fall asleep yet again (forever).

A simple random walk is a discrete-time stochastic process that describes a path generated by a sequence of random steps. Starting from a defined point, in this case, the origin, each step is taken with a fixed probability in a fixed direction. The crucial characteristic is that the direction of each step is chosen independently of all previous steps. A line traversing these paths is repeated and elaborated with standard symmetric and phasing transformations creating an elegant geometric ballet.
