A collaboration with a machine-learning based AI technology of next-frame prediction. The computerised synthesis of images by a neural network learns video clips and then guesses how they will continue, recreating them in the process. The reborn video images are then woven together into an audio-visual poem, revealing both computer and human cognition processes and raising reflections regarding the implications and future of this new technology.

The film follows an adolescent girl's stream of consciousness as she tries to cope with her unfamiliar femininity, the same process that every girl goes through when they get their first period. The entire process is accompanied by the changing moon, which becomes fuller as the girl's understanding of herself develops. Her thoughts are weaved together, much like the girl's braided hair, creating surreal images that reflect her situation.

Am I him or am I not? Did I know her or did she know me? I'm not certain who they are yet I feel I have always known them and I can’t help but wonder what became of them. A figure appears then dissolves as the film becomes a memory map. An other figure then appears and merges into the topography of the aged film before once again the first figure briefly reappears.
