Each and every animator was given 3 seconds to animate their objects entering the frame, hitting the surface and then making its way out through the bottom of the frame. The action was done to keep consistency throughout the work. Last but not least, the composing and adjusting of the audio were done.

Theater is a fictional world constructed for the viewers. To substitute our ideal selves through imitation, we seek inspirations in such performative acts to satisfy our subconscious and primitive needs for blood and thrill. In reality individual selves are always trapped in a state of isolation, constantly trying to communicate in some deep levels while always falling to do so. This need for intimacy is extended to the virtual world as we try establish the existence of the self. The four parallel stories are implicitly linked, and serve as each other’s metaphors.

"Making Landfall" is a mixed media experimental animation film exploring transience and perceptual ambiguity. Using a hand drawn aesthetic, it offers a milieu defying immediate comprehension and offering no fixed point of view. The horizon is unstable and disappears early on creating an unstable sense of place and a feeling of disorientation.

In a quaint Padang restaurant, filled with many people enjoying their lunch break, two extremely platonic bros put their extremely platonic friendship to the test when it turns out that there’s only a single plate of their favorite food left: The Rendang of Death. (Massacre may or may not ensue.) Rendang of Death was created with inspiration from the legendary animated short 'Bar Fight' made by the equally legendary animator Christy Karacas.
