After their combination the small creatures are come to life. The creator tries to force them to listen. As a result of refusal, a conflict arises.

Perhaps the only film whose content is totally based on the musical form known as canon. The first sequence is a simple demonstration of the canon "Frere Jacques" where four cubes dance and combine with one another on a checkerboard. The second sequence show four little human-like figures dancing in space. The third and most elaborate sequence shows a human going through several strange gesticulations. Through multiple printing we realize that the man, as in the previous sequences, is part of a visual canon and is making the gestures to himself. As we hear variations on the canonic theme so too do we witness visual variations: a woman and cat enters the canon. To show the musical technique of inversion, the image of the man is printed upside down.

The screen version of the Saltykov-Shchedrin tale about how two complacent generals miraculously found themselves on an uninhabited island. How a peasant was courting the generals, feeding and dressing them, content himself with crumbs from their table. They only slightly thanked him, but in the end they gave him only glass of vodka and a penny of silver.

Speedy and a couple of his mouse friends are in need of a drink in the hot desert and come accoss a water-filled oasis, which belongs to greedy Daffy Duck.

Roland is a flower child; Rattfink is "a weed." Roland keeps growing, picking, and sniffing flowers; Rattfink keeps attacking Roland, but the attacks either fail or backfire. Among the gags: As Roland plays the harp, Rattfink tries to discourage him by drumming. When that fails, he inverts the drum to reveal a beehive; the bees attack, the harp strings send Roland back into a fountain, and the bee-stung Roland still presents Rattfink with a flower. Rattfink air-drops a bag of flour on Roland; the resulting cloud of flour engulfs RF's plane, and he crashes into a building. Finally, Roland is in a jam session; Rattfink paints a can of nitroglycerine to look like a drum, but slips on a banana peel and explodes. Roland puts a flower on his grave; Rattfink's ghost hurls it at Roland.

The Blue One and the Yellow One vie for the attention of the Orange One. The Yellow One calls to the creator of the film because he is really annoyed. It seems that the introduction of the Red One will solve the problem. But it turns out that it is not a good solution.

It's spring! All the birds are nesting- that is, all but Goose Beary. She just sits, gazing longingly out the window at happy birds. A car horn and loud voice brings Charlie Beary to the window. It seems that Charlie and his friend Pete have a golf date. Charlie leaves his hatful of golf balls on a chair as he gets his clubs. Goose finds them and happily sits on them, mistaking them for goose eggs.

In anticipation of cold weather, two bear cubs go fishing, which may be the last before the winter. The kids are watching the crumbling leaves, birds flying away and drifting clouds. They begin to think about how one can catch a cloud. Now they do not realize what an unusual catch in the form of a crescent and stars is in store for them. Or maybe they will have enough bait even for the sun?

A boy travels with his sick dog Sniffy to his medicine cabinet, where pills and other medicines sing the dangers of taking medicines without adult supervision.

Nudnik wakes up in a dump yard, and tries to find a job painting the house of a pianist in an expensive neighborhood next to the dump yard.

At camp, the boys Mäxchen and Knirps make friends with a squirrel. Envious Emil wants to spoil their fun with the little animal and invents a hair-raising story in which he allegedly captures a wild lion, tames it and takes it home with him. Mäxchen's bragging gets too much, he steals away and lets out a menacing lion's roar with the help of a watering can. Emil flees, his hair dusted with horror. Everyone rejoices at his embarrassment - including the squirrel.

Professor Schmaltz tries to study a hungry termite and ends up with a super-termite who is much too hard to handle.

Daffy Duck goes to a forest on a gold hunt, and his treasure map indicates the presence of gold in a hole occupied by two polite twin gophers.

The Pink Panther sneaks into a house on a cold night, soon to learn it belongs to a hunter. The hunter's dog soon learns of the panther's presence, and unsuccessfully tries to prove this to his owner.

A hungry Ralph Wolf wants to swipe and eat some of the sheep in Sam Sheepdog's flock. Not only does Sam foil all of Ralph's schemes.

At a building site, the Pink Panther finds a blueprint for the construction of a generic home and replaces it with a pink-colored plan for an ultra-modern house. When the little man on the building site rejects the Pink Panther's pink blueprint and continues his original project, the panther decides to construct his preferred house on the same site, using the man's materials.

On a quiet and peaceful street, the serenity of one house is suddenly disturbed by the noise of Woody Woodpecker pecking away inside.
