Followed by the phase were everything slows down to finally result in a complete breakdown into everyday life. This cycle happens over and over again, in all scales, in all relations … sometimes it can be a cozy, pleasant state … while other times it seems like Don Quixote, fighting against windmills …

Tasked with sorting through the old cluttered apartment, Feferle contemplates whether she can approach the history of her Jewish family through the material remains and raw facts.

The animated film tells the semi-documentary story of the "Peaceful Revolution" in East Germany, which reached its decisive turning point with the Monday demonstration on October 9, 1989, in Leipzig. Berlin - techno, cobblestones and a lot of graffiti. "Berlin Recyclers" portraits the cultural, social and urban fabrics of this city by means of experimental animation. The viewer is guided to urban hideouts where little creatures dwell. These are digitally composed with collected trash and typical local products. The clatter of the limbs of these creatures interacts with the soundscapes of Berlin.

The animated puppet film „the way to a man's heart" tells the story of a dog who falls in love with a single gentleman. As a sign of his love, he leaves a dog turd in front of the man's door every morning. The story unfolds about misunderstandings and the failure of gestures where there is no match. The film's cute aesthetics stands in strong contrast to the drama of the conflict in which both protagonists become entangled.

A chameleon fails to conform to normality as he and his siblings grow and explore their world. Different in every way, from what he likes to eat to his abilities, he gets the blame when another chameleon is snatched by a bird of prey. He flees in terror when the other chameleons turn on him, but he unwittingly stumbles upon the missing chameleon and saves him. The group’s rage is forgotten when they are reunited with their lost sibling and the ‘strange’ lizard is finally accepted.

Life is not fair & rugged. With just a few strokes, absurd moments are brought to the point in small episodes - in the truest sense of the word.

The protagonist talks to himself and to someone who no longer lives in this world, but all the more in his heart. He looks for a way out of this state of powerlessness, assuming a stranger’s role, a free-roaming paper dog that runs between real shelves and across tables, races past people on black-and-white photographs and everyday objects, chases himself on a plate rim. The images convey a feeling of home – a home for memory and for life. Tune out? As soon as the dog stops, reality puts an end to this restless racket and brings the awareness of enduring loss. Poetic in language and design, the film formulates a moving but clear-eyed farewell to a brother.
