The cats chase him and deflate the balloons, but the real Mighty Mouse---the big red cheese, himself---shows up, beats up the cats and stacks them in a neat pile one on top of the other. Herky finds them that way when he comes to and Susie thinks he did it, although Herky says he didn't think he had it in him. Susie and the other little girl mice are fawning over Herky, as Mighty Mouse gives a big wink and flies away.

In a coastal village a faulty street lantern lands on the rubbish yard. During a storm a fishermen's boat is in trouble. The big lighthouse has fallen asleep, but the street lantern saves the boat.
It's the middle ages (sort of); Popeye is working in Bluto's Beanery. Bluto is going to the ball where Princess Olive will choose her mate. Popeye's fairy godpappy appears and it's a reverse Cinderella story, with a car created from a can of spinach.
Popeye drops a TV off at the orphanage; the program that comes on is a boxing match he's supposed to be in, so he dashes off. The fight is against the champ, who is huge. Popeye gets pummelled in the first round, but his fighting spirit materializes and advises him to outwit his opponent. In the second round, he does so. The champ then uses a light socket to "burn out" Popeye so he can't outthink him, and (as with the rest of this pun-filled match) "knocks him cold", turning him into a block of ice. The orphans feed Popeye his spinach right through the TV set, and he comes back to knock the champ through the screen.

Mr. Magoo, intent on going to the beach, winds up in the desert instead. Thinking himself to be at the beach, he tries fishing (he hooks a turtle which he mistakes for a crab) and swimming. Meanwhile, a desert wanderer and his horse are lost beyond hope when suddenly they lay eyes on Magoo's set up. Thinking the whole thing to be a mirage, they decide to make the best of it by devouring Magoo's picnic lunch and refreshments despite Magoo's protests. After the hearty meal, the man wants to thank Magoo before he "fades away" by giving him the only gold nugget he found while trekking the desert. Magoo thinks the gold is a sea-shell and plans to give it to Waldo to add to his collection!
The Terry Bears have trouble hibernating when the radiator breaks. The trouble increases when Papa Bear decides not to send for a pluber and to fix the radiator himself. The Cubs try to help but they break the water valve and flood the house. Papa nearly freezes in his attempts but the Cubs save him and fix the pipes.

The cartoon opens with a line of people (including Woody) drooling at the window of a market butcher's shop (Buzz Buzzard). What ensues is a short series of gags about how Buzz dishonestly (and literally) "jacks" up all his prices. Since Woody is broke as usual, he sneaks in and gets thrown out by Buzz. On the way out, Woody collides with a bottle of invisible ink and turns partially invisible. Buzz can only see parts of Woody's body and thinks he's been dismembered, (this scene is actually kind of gruesome) so he sweeps him into a trap door to get rid of him. When Woody awakes, he realizes what is happening, and douses himself with the rest of the ink...
Weary Woody Woodpecker is hitchhiking across the desert trying to thumb a ride on a passing stagecoach. He adds artificial limbs and dresses like a girl and has no problem in getting on the next one but is tossed out when his disguise is discovered. After eating a huge meal he decides to get even with the driver and uses a poster of the wanted Buzz Buzzard as a tool. But the real Buzz shows up and, when Woody resorts to his female disguise, the dastardly villain makes a play for him.

In the geometric part of the film, Hultén works with the rhythmic displacement of contrasts and patterns in bright primary colors. Geometric images are intertwined with jazz to illustrate analogy of form. The photographic part consists of family sequences of various persons. Chores: Getting water from a well, picking apples, shoeing a horse, gathering eggs. Popeye feeds a hen a little spinach, and she produces a mountain of eggs, which eventually end up all over Bluto. Bluto drops an anvil on Popeye, then goes after Olive against her wishes, chasing her into a succession of haystacks (where he finds a needle!). The chicken feeds Popeye his spinach, and he triumphs, sending Bluto into the pigpen (where the pigs won't have anything to do with him).

But first of all, the right woman for this has to be found, and thus Knopp embarks on a journey to look for a wife all through the German lands. During that, he visits his friends who are already married for a long time and gets all kinds of advice from them on how to get to know a woman and to conquer her heart. On his journey, Knopp then learns much about the different facets of married life. After countless adventures, he, however, doesn’t find an adequate partner and returns home frustrated. But perhaps, his housekeeper might be able to help out?
