In this animated promotional short for the German electronics company AEG, the music of a black performer in Africa is spread to other continents through the "play of waves" (Radio).

This film is a fine example of Seel’s saucy humour and his novel style, combining live-action and animation techniques, similar to Max Fleischer’s work in the US. When Pierette pours the contents of the artist’s pot of ink over herself at the end, the film seems to be spoofing Fleischer’s Out of the Inkwell series, which invariably ended with the animated clown Koko vanishing into the bottle.

When night dawns on the farm a little bat wakes up. The little bat wants somebody to keep its company. It doesn't want to be alone. It is looking for a friend.

"Don't Go Home With Satan is the first part of my experimental short animation series based on my dreams. Video is based on a song I heard on my dream. When waking up I could not recall it anymore. Several months later it suddenly came to me again. I found a skull from the forest, perhaps a fox, mice had eaten some of it. I turned it around and saw something creepy, like face of a devil, and as walking back to a house I start humming the song from my dream; 'Don't go home with Satan, he will eat your children'. Skull became a character and I build the story around it."

Four-dimensional quaternions (fractals) are visualized by projecting them into three-dimensional space. Instead of modeling objects of human imagination the realm of mathematics is explored. Only the variables of one formula (x[n+1]=x[n]^p-c) were changed. It took me about a year to get an idea of the transformations and shapes which could be expressed by this formula. Almost another year was needed to render the sequences which I decided to use.

However permanent and stable any order may seem, it may eventually crumble when reality outside of the system creeps in, growing like organic matter through the boundaries that the order has imposed. An animated odyssey.

Shot on 35mm film and hand-developed on negative stock, this abstract experimental animation immerses the viewer in the psychological atmosphere of life inside a bunker. Through distorted visuals and fragmented rhythms, it explores the blurred line between physical confinement and mental unraveling. As the shelter becomes a pressure chamber of the soul, hallucinations and inner fears begin to seep through the cracks. The film is less a narrative than a sensory experience — a descent into the emotional and perceptual dissonance of isolation.

The wolf decides to bring him to his cave. This story is about a man confronting the beast. He’ll learn his true nature, finding the true meaning of loyalty and respect during his last days.
