The Yotsuya Alphabet story tells of a girl caught in a surreal world with the use of Japanese characters. The story is about the girl who lives in the town called Yotsuya and wanders around the surreal world. Eventually she melts down and becomes a part of the Yotsuya town. Is the town real or only her imagination?

'Tale of Blood' is a 19 minute long paper-cut-puppet theater in the style of early silent cinema. It tells the story about the ambiguous relationship between a mother and her daughter. The story involves a midnight adventure through the dark forest, encounters with monsters and a short trip to an erotic dream land. The film is about suppressed female desires, that uncannily return as monstrous doppelgangers within the patriarchal society.

A young boy who has lived without his father for some time buys the tallest eggplant seedling at the market, hoping to grow it into a plant that will bring them lots of fruit. When the plant eventually grows all the way to the clouds, the boy decides to climb up to see what lies beyond, and has the time of his life with the rain-making oni.

Translating and encapsulating the director's personal childhood experiences as well as past lived experiences, You build a home in my mind comprises of playground rides, the everyday scenery outside the window of the artist's studio, and unique, special objects recalled from memories—weaving together a melody that lures the viewers to roam and wander. As the boat navigates between reality and imagination, resembling a journey of constant loss and persistent search, the scenes become slightly different when they reappear, these scenes alluding to the repetitiveness and uncertainty of life.

In the summer of 2012, Kyutae’s only friend, Young, disappeared, leaving behind a message: "Gliders can fly without engines. Isn't it cooool?" After that day, Kyutae began to see flying gliders in the sky all the time during morning assembly, in the classroom, even when he went to sleep.
