A couple of vultures find a baby vulture and raise it as if it were a chick. Like all baby vultures, it learns to fly, but as it grows, it becomes heavier and cannot fly for long. So, an identity crisis arises: "Why don't I have feathers? And what about this beak inside my mouth? Why doesn't the wind carry me anymore?"
It's Alive! The scene lights up. One can see a penguin in a graduation hat. Pulling a switch, the scientist zaps a toboggan with their machine. Rising from the table, they let out an evil laugh. The short was constructed fairly haphazardly via many different animation techniques, including stop-motion (filmed on Super-8), 3D computer models, morphed paintings, 2D digital cutouts and the odd bit of live-action for good measure.
