Io sono

Francesco, a young 27-year-old boy, left alone with his father after his mother's death, but whom he will only discover later, having thought he was abandoned, spends his days working the land with his father with whom unfortunately, often, a conflict arises. He goes through various difficulties that lead him to no longer be lucid and to make several mistakes that will eventually distance him from himself, from his father and from his partner. Only later, thanks to a very special friend, the situation will undergo a great change.

Crystal World

Crystal World is inspired by J.G Ballard’s apocalyptic science fiction novel of the same name where a viral crystal metamorphoses trees, animals, humans and architecture into frozen jewels forever suspended in time and space. The novel is a haunting portrait of a world in which everything is illuminated by prismatic light, a ‘leaking’ of time that causes humans to experience individual moments endlessly looped, repeated and prolonged. My film adapts this concept of crystallization and applies it to fragments from the 1955 film. I reconstruct scenes from Charles Laughton’s iconic film with underwater puppets, which I then crystallize using ammonium phosphate crystals, time-lapse photography, mirrors, prisms, and projectors. Arditurri

The Arditurri mines closed in 1984. Nineteen years have passed since then, and several groups of cavers and researchers have set out to explore their interior with the aim of assessing their condition and evaluating a possible reopening. Among them are Ander and Ibai. Ander is in charge of descending into the deepest and darkest areas of the mine, while Ibai provides technical assistance from a higher level, maintaining radio contact and monitoring for any anomalies. But as Ander ventures deeper into the abandoned galleries, communication begins to fail, the silence becomes oppressive, and the environment increasingly hostile. He will soon discover that in the bowels of the earth there is not only darkness and ruin, but something else... something that has been waiting too long in solitude. What seemed like a routine exploration mission will turn into a struggle for survival. Because down there, in the depths, true terror awaits him.

Three Hundred Thousand Kilometers per Second

Three Hundred Thousand Kilometers per Second is an experimental, interstellar road movie. A journey backwards in time, where we retrace the history of the universe towards the mystery of its origin. The film tells the story of two parallel spaces. That of a woman and a mysterious source of light. Attracted by the source, the woman tries to seize it. But the light, in perpetual transformation, remains elusive. The closer she gets, the more its transformations make her tremble, as if she's tuninig into tis energsy. The two words begin to interact, blending into one another in a chorography of connection, until the ultimate pulse in unison, merging space into a single entity.
