Masayuki Makino wakes up in the intensive care unit at a hospital. There, a young man appears in front of Masayuki and introduces himself as the God of Death (Gaku Sano). The God of Death tells Masayuki that Haruka was supposed to die in an accident that day, but, since he saved her life, Masayuki’s fate has now changed. He will die soon. The God of Death tells him that the only way they can both survive is to change Haruka's future. If Haruka becomes a high achiever as an intern and joins the company, Masayuki and Haruka can both survive. Masayuki comes up with the idea of possessing the body of Haruka's friend Maki (Anri Okamoto) and helping Haruka become a successful intern.

Kim Chi-hwan, the magistrate of the Ok-ra county, wiped out the family and relatives of Lee Min-bu with his wicked tricks. In order to avenge her family, the spirit of Min-bu's wife, Yun, is reborn. Yun invokes the spirits of Jang-hwa Hong-ryon and coaxes them to take revenge upon their stepmother Heo. (The stepmother Heo had been called back to earth and presently living with the magistrate. She is his servant, carrying out his murderous crimes.) Jang-hwa Hong-ryon is reborn. Yun also calls upon the spirit of maiden Suk who had killed herself when Chi-hwan raped her one day before her wedding. The four reborn women take their revenge and then return to the spirit world.

The story follows the protagonist Yun Shu, who is determined to find the whereabouts of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, to overthrow the tyrannical rule of Yan'er, the unruly monkey. During the search, Yun Shu gradually discovers that Sun Wukong's disappearance is connected to the Demon Lord's plot to break the seal and regain control of the Three Realms, with Yan'er being just a pawn in the Demon Lord's scheme. Ultimately, with the influence and help of the goddess Xi He, Yun Shu transcends his limitations, prevents the opening of the sealed gate, and becomes a true hero.

Seated in the front row of a funeral hall are a boy and a teenager, the picture of the deceased yet to be placed. A florist, Tung (Ai Wai), is consumed by grief but puts on a front for others. The boy drops by at the florist and orders a custom floral arrangement - a teddy bear-shaped wreath with his favourite yellow flowers — to be readied in three days' time and paid with money saved up in his piggy bank. Tung forges an unlikely friendship with his young customer, an encounter that releases bottled-up emotions so that healing process can begin.

Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" goes goth in Mari Terashima's screen adaptation of the children's classic. Terashima brings together Goth Loli performance troupe Rose de Reficul et Guiggles, doll maker Mari Shimizu and magician and actor Mame Yamada to create a macabre trip down the rabbit hole. The film appears animated, but the gothic characters are as real as can be.

In the Lantern Festival, the people pray for the blessing of the Empress Wu Zetian, but a strange beast with a full body of fire appears. It is said that eating the flesh and blood of the unicorn can cure all diseases, so Wu Zetian orders the Secretary of the Da Lisi, Xue Xin, to find out the truth within seven days. When the young Dee comes to Chang'an to be promoted to the position of "Chancellor" of the Da Lisi, he learns of a strange case at the Shang Yuan Festival and that he needs to wait until the case is solved before he can report to the court. Dee, who had wanted to wait for his job to be solved, is intrigued by this strange case and becomes involved in it by mistake.
