Puss in Boots

The miller's three sons receive their father's inheritance: the mill to the eldest, the donkey to the second, and the cat to the youngest. The two brothers refuse to share with the youngest, so the cat transforms himself and grows large. Wearing boots, he leaves on a foray and catches some rabbits, which he offers to the King on behalf of his master, "the Marquis of Carabas." Then he asks his young master to pretend to drown. The King and his entourage, alerted, rescued the boy. Later, when the King passes by, the cat asks the farmers to declare that they are in the service of the Marquis of Carabas. At the ogre's castle, the clever cat tricks the ogre into transforming into a mouse, which the cat catches and eats. Thus, the ogre's castle becomes the property of the young man, who eventually marries the King's daughter.

Music, Forward!

“Music Forward!” is the order given by a lady in Colonial costume, and in march a group of five musicians, working industriously at their instruments. The directress stands them in a row, and taking the head off each, throws it onto a huge music staff and each becomes a note of the scale. The whole bodies appear again, after which the manipulator seems to wrap them up in a large sheet of music, which is then shown to contain nothing. The paper is rolled up again, and a cane is held, perpendicularly, in a horizontal position to the sheet.

W : A Return to Oz

Witness the rise and fall of The Warehouse, a rave venue from Plymouth and times gone by now reduced to a derelict shell. We explore its history, its people and the future. An amateur filmmaker-explorer finds the building in an empty derelict state, long after the prosperous life and energy it endured through the 90s. Through a combination of archives and stories of people who lived there, the film explores through the medium of analogue what once was and how even a now silent derelict shell can become the centre of the universe.
