Like the six previous films, the film will feature the characters from all Pretty Cure television series. In the story, the Pretty Cures visit Harmonia, the country of songs and dance. When Sun Wukong was trapped under Wuzhi Mountain for 400 years, he happened to be rescued by Ah Yi. Ah Yi's parents were killed by the Dragon Prince, and she wanted Sun Wukong to take her to the Heavenly Palace to lodge a complain. The Dragon Prince learned that Sun Wukong had escaped from Wuzhi Mountain, and was going to avenge the destruction of the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea, and used Sun Wukong's good brother, the Demon King, to assassinate him. Although Sun Wukong was blocked by Ru Lai's mana, the Bull-Demon King still failed to assassinate him. But he brought Ah Yi back, and in order to save Ah Yi, Sun Wukong hit the Dragon Palace. Sun Wukong and the Dragon Prince fight from the sea to Nantianmen. Sun Wukong was finally coerced by Ah Yi and returned to Wuzhi Mountain to continue his practice, waiting for someone with a predestined relationship.

Snake 4: The Lost World

A storm causes a plane to crash on a remote Pacific island, leaving behind a few survivors. Among them are Hao Ran, a failed businessman who wants to die so his family can collect on his life insurance policy, Ruan Ning, his ex-lover who also happened to be on the plane, and Li Jun, whom some of the passengers recognize but can't remember from where. Their only hope of survival is to find a walkie-talkie so they can call for help. It's in the cockpit, which has become separated from the rest of the plane on the way down, but that means a long and dangerous journey across the island, and dealing with a bunch of other giant creatures and each other.

A twenty-something punk fancies himself a total player, but the best job he can find is overnight clerk at a convenience store. The other clerk is a cute chick and you’re thinking “rom com,” but then there’s a robbery, a gangster, a shoot-out, and by the time a neighbor is pulling out a homemade bomb, you realize that this violent farce is all about the current situation in Hong Kong where nothing makes sense, the heartless wipe their feet on the hopeless, and you might as well burn it all down because there are no more better tomorrows.

Genius Party

The seven short films making up GENIUS PARTY couldn’t be more diverse, linked only by a high standard of quality and inspiration. Atsuko Fukushima’s intro piece is a fantastic abstraction to soak up with the eyes. Masaaki Yuasa, of MIND GAME and CAT SOUP fame, brings his distinctive and deceptively simple graphic style and dream-state logic to the table with “Happy Machine,” his spin on a child’s earliest year. Shinji Kimura’s spookier “Deathtic 4,” meanwhile, seems to tap into the creepier corners of a child’s imagination and open up a toybox full of dark delights. Hideki Futamura’s “Limit Cycle” conjures up a vision of virtual reality, while Yuji Fukuyama’s "Doorbell" and "Baby Blue" by Shinichiro Watanabe use understated realism for very surreal purposes. And Shoji Kawamori, with “Shanghai Dragon,” takes the tropes and conventions of traditional anime out for very fun joyride.

Nezha: Demon Child is Back

The Dragon King and the Four Seas Dragon King flood Chentang Pass to force Li Jing to hand over Ne Zha. After Ne Zha kills himself and his mortal body dies, Tai Yi wants to build a temple to help him be rebirthed. Taoist Ran Deng presents Li Jing with the exquisite pagoda, saying that if Ne Zha accepts the incense without merit, he will be attacked by the devil's heart. Li Jing cannot bear to let Ne Zha go astray and decides to destroy the temple to make Ne Zha misunderstand, while Li's mother and Tai Yi secretly enshrine Ne Zha's tablet.
