Homunculus

The long-awaited full-length project with the participation of the classic Russian aphorists Arkady Davidovich and the star of Russian rock and roll Konstantin Stupin. The plot revolves around two guys from the outskirts who create a new life, following the recipes of the ancient alchemists. We are not aware of their motives, we do not know why and why they decided to do this. It remains only to closely monitor how they methodically, step by step, repeat the mysterious recipe of Paracelsus, extracting each ingredient, conducting with it all the necessary manipulations. Mystical experience surrounded by familiar household scenery turns into a theater of the absurd.

Love Like Aliens

In a future not too far from now, Humanity has advanced to a point where the line between Homo sapiens and Androids have blurred completely. This has occurred so that the species could survive. Technology has allowed humans to travel into deep space to colonize other planets and galaxies deep in the universe because Earth has become uninhabitable. One of the many unfortunate results of this robotic Darwinism is that human behavior and consciousness has also changed over the years. Much of what makes one human -- love, family, intimacy etc., have all become things of the past. Almost legend.

HSP: There Is No Escape from the Terrors Of the Mind

There is no escape… From one side of the globe to the other, there is no escaping the faces, the visions, the ever-watchful camera. There is no escaping the mask, there is no escaping the resonating echoes of images and sounds that cross each other over time. There is no escaping the cinema. There is no escaping the terrors of the mind. “A mysterious loner, perhaps a poet, journeys through a series of uncanny surrealistic landscapes with an unclear purpose. His adventure is divided into three sections. The main theme of this experiment is to compare the eerier qualities of different landscapes and interpose the characters within them, elaborating the project’s ongoing preoccupation with extracting sinister moods from ordinary settings. In a way, these can be seen as experimental horror films in which an atmosphere of dread is evoked and sustained without the expected narrative trappings.”

Clockwise

Thanks to the magical powers of an antique pocket watch, Saad relives a mysterious episode of his youth – a time during the 1930s when he nearly lost his father, but also found the love of his life. In recalling this period, ‘Clockwise’ relates the folktale of how fijiri, the entrancing music of Khaleeji pearl divers, came to be. Atique adopts Saad when they are the lone survivors of a tragic boat wreck, and the two lead a humble life in a village by the sea. One night, Atique happens upon a group of jinn as he seeks out the source of an enchanting melody in a nearby ruin; their leader, Adsaan, agrees to teach Atique this fijiri music, but only if he vows not to share it with anyone else. Adsaan’s one condition proves very challenging to Atique, who becomes eager to celebrate the art of fijiri with a wider audience. Saad, meanwhile, falls in love with Jeena, a renegade jinni who, as it turns out, just might hold the key to his father’s salvation.
