Chhota Bheem and Hanuman

The grouchy Makhichoos, whoe hates Diwali, is digging furiously in the Dholakpur forest searching for a demon. Soon the demon emerges from the roots of a tree. Both the evil witch and Makhichoos plan to build a new kingdom on the eve of Diwali and teach Bheem a lesson. While Bheem and his friends are preparing for the celebrations, Chhota Hanuman also comes there to be a part of the festival. But something worse happens; Makhichoos and the evil witch kidnap princess Indumati. Will Bheem and Hanuman together rescue Indumati and triumph over the evil.

An old man from Ghurghutia village near Palashi invited Feluda to solve a puzzle. The man's pet parrot recites a numeric code which is actually the combination number of his iron chest. The parrot says— Trinayan, o trinayan, ektu jiron. When Feluda solved the puzzle, he gave him four rare books of Émile Gaboriau as a reward. The very next day when Feluda returns to Kolkata with Topshe, something fishy smells in the old man's house. He started the last time investigation and it revealed that it was all a made-up plan and there was a murder behind the entire plot.

Crime Factory

When you have nothing to lose, you are selfless, but when you have something to lose, you are selfish. Since the beginning of time, the three things that man feared losing, and which in turn have given birth to conflicts, wars, deceit and crimes, are power, money and woman. The same philosophy and practice come true in the lives of a group of 5 abandoned boys Sallu, Ajjal, Bikroo, Pappu and Bulbul who are brought up in a slum referred to as "Crime Factory", because of the number of criminals the slum bred. The easiest path for them to survive was the path of crime; starting from peddling weed to extortion, money laundering and murder.

Daddy

Pooja has been brought up by her grandparents, and has no recollection of her mom and dad. She is told by her grandpa, Kantaprasad, that her dad had passed away. Years later, Pooja has now grown up. She starts getting mysterious phone calls from a male who merely says "I love you", and hangs-up. When her grandpa has these phone calls traced, the caller is Anand, Pooja's dad. Kantaprasad has him beaten up, and warns him against contacting Pooja again. When Pooja is being molested by a male in her apartment building, Anand comes to her rescue, and it is then Pooja comes to know that this shabby, alcoholic man is her dad. Will Pooja accept him, or will she follow her grandpa's advise and continue on with her life.

Panicker's one-act play deals with the relation of identification between an actor and his or her role. The action takes place on the eve of the last act of the Kathakali piece Keechakavadham (The Killing of Keechaka). The events surrounding the performance uncannily echo events in the play. One character even claims to have killed the lead actor of the play because he detested the character the man portrayed. However, the three different accounts that are presented of the same plot are never resolved or reconciled with each other. Each version is accompanied by a different style of folk music: the tune and rhythm of southern Kerala’s thampuran pattu, the pulluvan pattu and the ayappan pattu. The performers were drawn from the theatre and from Kathakali. In southern India, with its plethora of politicians using their film images to acquire inordinate wealth and power, Aravindan’s TV film bears on an eminently sensitive political as well as aesthetic issue.

Gosainpur Sargaram

Feluda is called to Gosaipur by Jiban Mallick, the son of the local Zamindar Shyamlal Mallick to investigate a threat of his father's life. Everyone in the village knows that father and the son are at loggerheads. Shyamlal is also an eccentric who eschews anything modern. Then, instead of Syamlal, his son Jiban Mallick is killed and the wealth of Mallick's looted. Oddly though, the dead body of Jiban Mallick vanishes, only to reappear again. Feluda works this out with a mixture of investigating skills and deception.

The Volume Zero: The Work of Charles Correa

VOLUME ZERO is an hour-long documentary on the work and the ideas of Charles Correa, one of the world’s most important architects. It deals with his childhood, architectural training, formative years and the paradigm underlying his large and complex oeuvre spanning over five decades – as well as his pivotal role in addressing issues of urbanization in the Developing World. It uses first person narration by the filmmaker, combined with extended excerpts of interviews with Correa, live action, stills, diagrams, animation and archival footage to open up the thought processes that generate architectural space and form.

Portrait of an Average Man

In this rather routine, made-for-television movie by famed Indian director Mrinal Sen, an employee (K.K. Raina) in a large office is suddenly facing unemployment because his bosses have found him guilty of negligence. He is devastated, but he cannot lose his job since he is the only support of his family. Interspersed with the employee's efforts to convince his boss, in several different ways, that he cannot be fired are direct dialogues with the author (Shyamanand Jalan) who created the character of the employee. In these latter conversations, the employee berates his creator for giving him an impossible, no-win situation — he has no control over his fate.
