In 1980, Frank Sinatra performed a two-week engagement at Carnegie Hall, which at the time, set a record for the venue by selling out each show in just one day. The performances followed the release of 1980's Trilogy, Sinatra's ambitious triple-album comeback that featured "The Theme from New York, New York." Sinatra mixes "Summer Me, Winter Me" from that album with his hits "I've Got the World on a String" and "I've Got You Under My Skin." Foreshadowing the follow-up to Trilogy is "The Gal That Got Away"/"It Never Entered My Mind," a medley that would appear on She Shot Me Down in 1981.

Using clips from classic horror films and contemporary interviews, this cable-TV documentary tries to separate truth from fable in discussing vampires and werewolves -- a task that often proves impossible. After noting that fear of the supernatural stems from mankind's basic terror involving darkness and awe of the moon, the film ticks off several documented cases of "actual" blood sucking and lycanthropy. Among those interviewed are weapons experts, scientists, sociologists, and movie buffs, as well as a few hardy souls who claim to be genuine Dracula and Wolfman clones. Originally slated to air during Halloween weekend in 2003, Fang vs. Fiction: The Real Underworld of Vampires and Werewolves was moved forward two months as an extended promotion for the upcoming theatrical feature Underworld, which, of course, dealt with the same terrifying subject matter. MacShayne is a gambler and small time con-man. After doing that he discovers that Leggett is duplicitous and is going stab everybody in the back. So he decides to turn the tables on him.
