The Erotokritos is a narrative poem composed by Vitsentzos Kornaros in early 17th century Crete. It consists of 10,012 fifteen-syllable rhymed verses, the last twelve of which refer to the poet himself. It is written in the Cretan dialect of the Greek language. Its central theme is the love story between Erotokritos and Aretousa. Around this theme, revolve other themes such as honour, friendship, bravery and courage. In this adaptation, colorful shadow puppets are deployed.

Kiku-chan to Ookami, one of the Sensou Douwa wartime specials, follows a young Japanese settler girl in Manchukuo, Japan’s puppet state in occupied northeast China, during the final days of World War II. As Soviet forces enter Manchuria and Japan’s colonial rule collapses, Kiku’s family joins other settlers fleeing south toward Korea in the hope of returning to Japan. When Kiku falls ill with measles, the refugee group abandons her, leaving her behind to die. Alone in the wilderness, Kiku is found by an old wolf who first sees her as prey. But as the wolf watches over the helpless child, hunger gives way to a strange, fragile bond. With soldiers, fire, illness, and starvation closing in, can Kiku survive long enough to be found?

In this well-photographed and sometimes confusing wartime drama, an Austrian village experiences the tragedy of war on several different levels. Within one family, the younger son is jealous of the praise his father gives to a Polish POW who is working for them under very difficult conditions. Within the village as a whole, the French, Polish, and Russian POWs are kept under guard by Nazi soldiers, creating a tense situation all around. But more importantly, the village has conspired to hide an Austrian deserter in a cave up in the mountains. This act of rebellion on the part of the deserter and the village hangs in a precarious balance that could be upset by a single traitorous comment to the Gestapo.

Nationalist spies threatened Luobu Danzeng to detain the work team. Chen Shaohua sent Xiao Li and Dali Jie to the military division. The People’s Government advanced into Menghe, prompting Xie to assassinate Lang Jie to eliminate witnesses. Before dying, Lang Jie exposed Xie’s plot to Luobu Danzeng, who apologised and cooperated with the People’s Liberation Army to eliminate the remnants.

In 1943, critical developments in the Pacific War have placed Japan at a disadvantage, although the fiery breaths of war hadn't yet reached Okinawa Normal School for women. Nothing seemed the least bit out of the ordinary, as Kazuko and her friends enjoyed a day of sports. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, Shanwa's family of three lived peacefully in the Taihang Mountains. One day, Japanese soldiers built a artillery tower at the mountain pass, which worries Shanwa's family, their peaceful life was soon disrupted. The Japanese soldiers spotted Shanwa hunting and shot him. The bullet pierced one of his ears and almost killed him. This made the innocent Shanwa feel indignant and thus his need to vent out his anger. Ignoring his wife's dissuasion, he came to the opposite side of the blockhouse at dawn, shouted curses and fired shots in protest. This angered the Japanese soldiers in the artillery tower. They chased him into the mountains several times and finally found his home. The Japanese soldiers brutally killed his wife and child, but he managed to escape with his life. From then on, Shanwa with the help of his father launched a desperate battle against the Japanese soldiers.
