The story begins on the stormy night the colt was born on a horse farm in Kentucky, seven months after the farm's intended crop of yearlings. He is far behind the other colts and is regarded as a misfit. The other colts are sold off into the racing world, but the under-age and scrawny Stormy (real name Woodie D)is sent off to work on a California ranch. There, he is spotted for the thoroughbred he is and trained as a Polo pony, and comes through with flying colors.

The little monkeys sized up the old man, and became interested in the straw hat and wine gourd he threw on the ground.

The old man recognizes Imam-zade as the son of Suleiman-bek, the former ruler of these lands, who killed geologist Karimov, who was conducting research here in 1920. Realizing that he has been exposed, Imam-zade blows up the cave in an attempt to destroy the expedition. But the locals rescue the expedition members. Imam-zade is detained by MGB officers. Uranium is found in the rocks discovered by Jalil at the excavation site...

Chor Yuen started his directorial career with a bang. The film cloaks its entertainment in a moral deliberation on blood ties, its story about the raising of a bastard child a head-on challenge of archaic family values. An ostentatious start for a colourful and eventful career.
