The Cat Prince

The castle custodian Král is moving to a new place of work with his wife, son Radek and a five - years old daughter Terezka. Radek takes his cat Líza with him. A fully loaded truck moves through the country which is in spring blossoms, gradually changing into a snow-covered land. Children's imagination creates from real experiences magic stories - a fairy-tale grandpa takes them to a new castle, the children fear a black-horse rider who - as the grandpa and the cleaning lady assert she hates cats.

Shyam and Soni live with their mother in a village. They are very poor. The children give away the only bread piece to a hungry saint, who in turn gives them a magical conch. The children somehow discover that the conch reveals something foul concerning the listener. While patrolling, the disguised king reaches the kids and the children give the conch to him, requesting to pass it to the king, saying that this is magical. The king, using the conch, finds that his cousin wants to poison him. The king reaches his palace and confirms the plot against him and punishes the culprits. The king sends jewelery, garments, sweets, fruits etc for the kids and punishes the moneylender, and comes to take them along. The message "Good deeds do not go unrewarded".

Registration of a live concert with songs from the Dutch children's television series from the 1970s 'Kunt U Mij de Weg naar Hamelen Vertellen, Meneer?'. The song are sung by the actors, with the Metropole Orkest. The serie is based on the fairy tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", and it tells what happened with the children after they disappeared from this German town. When The Piedpiper solves the rat problem in the town of Hamelin The Mayor refuses to pay him his gold so out of revenge he disappears with all the children of the town and four adults, the alternate reality they find themselves in adventures with flying pumpkins and carpets, mud fighting princes, dwarfs and witches, a love elixir, Wensela's melting ice palace and a lot more. The show featured over 120 songs, written by Joop Stokkermans (music) and Harrie Geelen (lyrics), who also wrote the story and dialogues.
