Manoranjan

Havaldar Ratan is a rookie at the local police station, and is assigned duty on foot patrol on Manoranjan Street, a notorious red-light area, on the very first day of his job. He strikes up a conversation with a good-looking young woman named Nisha, and tells her that there is a possible violation of Suppression of Immoral Trafficking Act taking place on this street. He witnesses several women soliciting men, and decides to call in the paddy wagon, and get them arrested. Alas, one of the men frequenting the prostitutes is none other than Ratan's superior officer, who immediately summons Ratan, and has him removed from service on corruption charges. Nisha takes pity on a homeless and unemployed Ratan, and asks him to live with her. He does not want her to sell her body, and so he decides to work at night, and during the day he takes on the guise of a rich Nawab and spends time with her.

The White Clove

Setareh (Forozan) is the singer of a cheerleading group. Mahmoud (Abdullah Butimar), who has become Setareh's admirer, provides her and her friends with a luxurious house and invites them to perform at a large nightclub. A young student named Masoud (Taqi Mokhtar) expresses his interest in Setareh, despite her parents' opposition. Setareh, who is suffering from cancer, refuses to attend the nightclub at Masoud's request, until Masoud's father calls Setareh and asks her to cut off contact with him for the sake of Masoud and his fiancée, and Setareh agrees. Setareh's condition worsens and her friends struggle to pay for her treatment. Masoud learns of his father's meeting with Setareh on his wedding day and goes to apologize. Setareh dies in Masoud's arms.

Yeong-Ho is a son of second wife and enters his stepmother's as an heir. His stepbrother, Young-Min, is physically weak and frequently gets sick even by minor shock. To get away his girl friend, Myeong-Suk, Young-Ho makes Young-Min approach her. Myeong-Suk, who found something lacked in Young-Ho, starts a long journey with Young-Min. At that moment, Young-Ho suffers form the loneliness and longing for Myeong-Suk. At last, Young-Ho starts to look for her. Time passes, and Young-Ho decides to return his home, knowing that Young-Min has the qualification to inherit. On his departure day, Young-Ho calls Myeong-Suk, confessing his love and asking her to come back to him.

Choo Myeong-ho, an employee of a chemical factory in a small town in North Korea, falls in love with a female employee, leading to three months of pregnancy, and the two hide this fact. The two find an old woman who secretly pays for an abortion and underwent the operation, but the female employee dies. Shocked by this, Choo Myung-ho rapes and strangles a female warrior. Returning to the factory, Choo Myung-ho rescues a young Park who was beaten for falling asleep while working, and incites fellow Park. The riot fails, many parks are killed, and Choo Myung-ho, who has survived his life, escapes to South Korea in search of freedom, but is shot and fell into the sea to die. The North Koreans demand the UN return the bodies. The UN has announced that it will return Choo Myung-ho's body back to North Korea for humanitarian reasons.

A happy relationship developed between Hoda [Naglaa Fathy] and Ahmed [Mahmoud Yassine]. Ahmed was planning to meet with her parents to ask for her hand, then suddenly went abroad to get his doctorate. Hoda's father [Ibrahim Saafan] got into a severe financial crisis and died, leaving Hoda in great pain. She felt better when she heard Ahmed was returning, but his plane crashed while Hoda was waiting to meet him at the airport. Her friend Dolat [Soheir El-Bably] tried to get her to accept treatment at a home for women, but she would not stay there; she went on a partying binge in Lebanon instead. Then Hoda heard Ahmed had not died, so she wrote him a letter about her situation. Ahmed came to see her, but she overdosed on sleeping pills and killed herself the following day.
