Devil’s Eye

Manis and her fisherman father receive a guest named Suleiman at their humble kampung house. He is well-liked by them both and becomes a frequent visitor who helps out with the daily chores. Unbeknownst to Manis, the young man is in fact a prince-in-disguise. So a romance between a royal and a commoner blossoms, as the couple exchange teasing pantuns at the next opportunity - while gathering wood, or while tidying up the rumah ibu. All is bliss when Manis agrees to marry Suleiman in secret even after finding out his true identity. Separation of the loving pair beckons when the prince receives news from the palace and returns to his ailing father, who at his death bed agrees to a royal intermarriage between his son and a princess from a neighbouring monarchy. Schlager-Raketen

"Festival of Hearts" is the name of the new pop music show by popular DJ Camillo. He came up with the idea by chance. Marcel, a young bank employee, almost hit a charming young girl with his car. Angry, she lent him her jack, but then disappeared forever. He cannot forget her and tries to find her again through the show "Schlagerfreunde" (Schlager Friends). And that becomes the idea for Camillo's new show: to bring couples who have lost each other back together through a melody. For Marcel, it happens faster than expected, because his great love is none other than Camillo's secretary, who can follow his cries for help from the control room.

Fiancés on the Bridge

A subtitle warns, "beware of dark sunglasses." Anna and her lover, whose looks in bowler and bow tie are reminiscent of a young Buster Keaton, kiss chastely on a bridge overlooking the Seine. He dons sunglasses and waves as she runs down a stairway to the river's edge, then watches in horror as she's knocked flat and loaded into the back of a hearse. In vain, he gives chase. Disconsolate, he buys a large funeral wreath and a handkerchief from sympathetic vendors. He removes the glasses to wipe his eyes and realizes they are the cause of all his woe. He replays the farewell without the glasses.

Hello, It's Me!

In post-war Armenia, physicist Artyom buries himself in work, haunted by the loss of his wife in WWII, unable to let go of the past. Meanwhile, young Tanya refuses to accept her stepfather, still waiting for her real father, missing in action for years. Their parallel journeys explore memory, loss, and the weight of history—both personal and national. As Artyom grapples with the dilemma of remembering versus forgetting, the film becomes a meditation on identity, time, and the inescapable pull of the past. Partially based on the life of prominent Soviet-Armenian scientist Artem Alikhanyan, Hello, It’s Me! is a deeply reflective exploration of history’s grip on both individuals and nations.
