SAYUMINGLANDOLL~宿命~

Michishige Sayumi's "SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Rebirth~" concluded last year with great success. The second installment of the series, a year after the previous one, is now available on Blu-ray Disc, recording "SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Fate~," which began in March 2018, and is now available for general release! The performance took place at COTTON CLUB in Marunouchi, Tokyo. It's a performance that's neither a "concert," "musical," nor "dinner show," but rather an approximately 80-minute show that weaves together sound, light, and video . This recording captures the performance on Monday, April 16, 2018.

Gambämark

"Gambämark" is a musical produced and performed by the Finnish-Swedish humor group KAJ in co-operation with Wasa Teater. Originally premiering on stage at the Ritz Hotel in Vaasa in the autumn of 2018, it premiered on TV for the wide public on 1.3.2019. "Gambämark" is about a small town in Finnish Ostrobothnia, which decides to isolate itself from the outer world and builds a large wall around its borders. The people of the town enjoy life as it used to be - but is everyone truly happy?

“PLAY” by Dave Grohl celebrates the rewards and challenges of dedicating one’s life to playing and mastering a musical instrument. Part one opens with narrated behind the scenes footage featuring discussion of the love of playing music and the lifelong relationship with an instrument, and detailing the process and challenges of recording and filming this unique performance. “PLAY" film then segues to the titular 23-minute, one-man-band instrumental recording on which Grohl plays all seven instruments on the track, all live.

Founded in 2012 by Laurence Equilbey, the Insula Orchestra performs on period instruments and experiments with new concert formats. In summer 2018, the French conductor and her ensemble will present a little-known work by Mozart at the Parisian cultural center La Seine Musicale: the incidental music to "Thamos, King in Egypt". In 1773, the author Tobias Philipp Freiherr von Gebler asked his fellow Freemason Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to compose incidental music for his heroic drama "Thamos, King of Egypt". The boy wonder composed two choruses and five interludes for the play, which took up the Egyptian theme popular in the 18th century.
