This will be the first time that this masterpiece is heard in the Théâtre de l’Archevêché in Aix-en-Provence, beneath a moon no less complicit in the fatal illusion for being real.

On the island of Mauritius, which belongs to Africa, musician and globetrotter Sîla meets three generations of musicians who recount the island's musical and political history with lots of music. The colonial power France once brought slaves from Madagascar and the African mainland to the island, where they had to toil on the sugar cane plantations. The slaves developed a musical style of freedom with homemade instruments – Séga. Today, this music is considered the "blues of the Indian Ocean." Different, very rhythmic styles have developed. The performers of "Séga engazé" and "Seggae" – a reggae sound – are representatives of a revolutionary music that raises its voice against oppression, racism, and violence against women. The musicians believe in the power of music as a mouthpiece for a rather voiceless island society and in its unifying element across all religious and ethnic differences.

The video depicts three teenagers (two boys and one girl) on a carefree summer road trip, driving a 1970s Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The concept aimed for a universal feeling of melancholy and romantic nostalgia, mixing US and French suburban styles. The video was shot on 16mm film.

The viewer is lured deep into a dilapidated glasshouse, a place where nature is traditionally tamed and studied, by a ghostly figure, dancing to a variation on the popular song from Disney’s The Jungle Book (1967). As the music fades out, he makes way for the vocal group Black Harmony, offering a reinterpretation of the song in their own language - Lugbara. I Wan’na Be Like You deconstructs and reconstructs the novel, film, that song and their legacies.

Two years after the release of her second album, Lââm invites her fans to see her on stage. "Face à face" is a concert captured at the Olympia on 27 October 2001. In eighteen tracks, the singer performs her personal favourites and delivers two new covers: "Mon vieux" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now". A live recording that faithfully reproduces the atmosphere of her records, between sentimental pieces and energetic grooves.

In a high school in the 2000s, the annual talent competition is approaching and inspiration is struggling for a music group on the verge of crisis.
