I think every Aussie in London was lost last night because we found their meeting place; O2 Forum Kentish Town, where Lime Cordiale concluded their UK tour. Lime Cordiale are a seriously impressive unit. A wholly captivating band that sit just as nicely on stage as they do on your car sound system on a long sunny drive. Follow Busking For Misfits as they work on their debut album, Modern Problems. Filmed over four days in April 2023, this documentary takes a look at how Oliver, Luke and Josh operate in the studio and delves into the bands origins as well as what made them pursue music in the first place.

Directed by Tony Palmer for Melvyn Bragg's British television South Bank Show, this doco on Callas uses interviews with those that knew the Greek soprano, news footage, and Callas herself talking intercut in time with footage of her singing, often with the choice of music commenting on her life, though regrettably none of the music is identified for us.

An absurd yet serious musical about medical diagnosis and the illness lupus. Dressed in animal costumes, two people in an empty theatre switch between the roles of illness and patient, actor and audience, wolf and butterfly. The animals are associated with the illness, which the director has: lupus means wolf in Latin, whilst patients often have a 'butterfly rash.' With blue medical curtains paired with red velvet stage curtains, it echoes the uncomfortable feeling of being on show when in hospital.

Breaking the Silence is a short film written and directed by Harry Santos. The film follows the story of a boy, captivated by music, going about his daily life. The monotony and dullness of ones life is portrayed, highlighting how music brings joy and happiness to many.

The viewer is lured deep into a dilapidated glasshouse, a place where nature is traditionally tamed and studied, by a ghostly figure, dancing to a variation on the popular song from Disney’s The Jungle Book (1967). As the music fades out, he makes way for the vocal group Black Harmony, offering a reinterpretation of the song in their own language - Lugbara. I Wan’na Be Like You deconstructs and reconstructs the novel, film, that song and their legacies.

Ordo Virtutum is an allegorical morality play, or sacred music drama, by Hildegard of Bingen, composed around 1151, during the construction and relocation of her Abbey at Rupertsberg. It is the earliest morality play by more than a century, and the only medieval musical drama to survive with an attribution for both text and music.

The story of a loner living in a bucolic dreamworld.

Popular musical hall singer and pianist Norah Blaney performs a ditty about the gender nonconforming ways of modern young things for the camera in this early sound film. Blaney was known for her partnership with cellist Gwen Farrar in the late 1920s, performing duets which put an innuendo-laden queer spin on popular (heterosexual) hits.

The Sweet are one of the only "Glam Rock" bands to have had chart success in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Though very much part of the Glam Rock explosion, there is so much more to them and their timeless, exciting music is testimony to this fact as well as their influence on punk and modern rock. This concert recording features the legendary lineup of Brian Connolly, Andy Scott, Steve Priest & Mick Tucker.
