"Shakti Timeless" tells the story of the Indo-Western music group Shakti. Formed in 1975, the group pioneered a groundbreaking and highly influential musical East-meets-West approach. In the 1970s, the group, whose name means creative intelligence, beauty and power, consisted of legendary British jazz guitarist John McLauglin, North Indian tabla master Zakir Hussain, violinist L. Shankar and percussionist T.H. Vinayakram, the latter two hailing from South India. Together, they created a fluid and organic sound that managed to successfully combine seemingly incompatible traditions. After a number of very successful live concerts and albums they disbanded. The group was reformed in 1997 under the name Remember Shakti with new talents from India, such as V. Selvaganesh, who replaced his father Vinayakram on percussion, and the young prodigy U. Shrinivas, who replaced L. Shankar. In 2000, the young Indian classical singer Shankar Mahadevan joined as the first vocal element in the group.

There are only a few artists who are able to get away with performing the same songs over and over again. One of the best examples might be The Rolling Stones. Brazil also has a few of those selected musicians. Like Lulu Santos. Not long after his MTV Acústico project, in which he performed his major hits in the suggested acoustic setting, he's back again with another MTV live recorded album. This time with his regular tour band, and again performing some of his most successful songs. A strange phenomenon is that the acoustic hit collection sold 745,000 copies, while in no time this MTV Ao Vivo album already sold the 60,000 copies necessary to receive a gold album. Strange, because the studio album in between, the very good piece of work called Bugalu (2003), did not succeed the 51,000 figure (so far). It seems people can't get enough of listening to the songs they grew up with!

Directed by Shinji Aoyama, this NHK documentary follows avant-garde jazz trumpeter Toshinori Kondo as he traces the footsteps of the poet Matsuo Bashō. Blending music, landscape, and literature, the film captures Kondo’s improvisational soundscapes against the spiritual terrain of Kumano, evoking a dialogue between past and present, poetry and performance.

Circle of Friends is a DVD by Bob Mould of a live concert recorded in 2005 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. The performance included songs from Mould's earlier bands Hüsker Dü and Sugar, as well as his solo work. The much lauded 'Festival In The Desert 2003' was the first of two programmes to come from Mali. The festival itself is held in a nearby oasis in the southern Sahara Desert, and is the traditional gathering of the Touareg people, who sing powerfully hypnotic songs about the pain and pleasures of desert life.

"É Dez" is the tenth studio album by Brazilian singer and presenter Eliana, released on August 30, 2002 by BMG, and produced by Guto Graça Mello. It was Eliana's first album to be released on DVD and VHS kit. It presents a story called "Eliana.com alegria", where Eliana is transported inside a computer and stay stuck there until the end of the story. This Is Where I Came In is the Bee Gees' 22nd and final studio album (twentieth worldwide), released in 2001. It is the only album of all-new material released by them on the Universal Music label (which had acquired the rights to the group's releases on Polydor Records when they bought that label's parent PolyGram). The album peaked at #6 in the UK, while the single, "This Is Where I Came In", reached #18. In the US, the album peaked at #16. The group appeared on the A&E concert series Live by Request in April, 2001 to promote the new album.

One day, a week before the manuscript is to be completed, a woman visits his room. She burns all his papers and takes him to the city to cut him off from his memories. Nevertheless, Kaito cannot stop writing about his sister. The woman decides to lead him on a journey to ultimate hell.

Todd Rundgren founded Utopia in order to play prog-rock, but the band became a more mainstream rock group as the '70s progressed. This DVD captures them performing before an avid crowd in Columbus, Ohio on a 19890 tour. Young man in the prison is obsessed with a singer who is to perform in a new musical its director is currently auditioning for. He escapes and through complex and often very funny series of events ends up being the main star of the musical, only to be discovered by the police the day before the premiere...OK, enough spoilers! The story keeps going on... Lots of great dialogs, awesome music and singing, and ever-twisting story (plus, the parallels between the play's script and the real story) makes this one of the most enjoyable Czech movies I've seen in years (and I've seen many)! Definitely check it out if you like comedy, drama, musicals, and theater.
