Sportfreunde Stiller is only the sixth German band ever to record an MTV Unplugged concert. An accolade for the three boys from Munich. The title 'Unplugged in New York' can be read with a wink as 'New York' is just outside Munich: In a stunt hall of the Bavaria Film Studios the 'Sportis' were playing the biggest hits from their previous five albums, two cover songs and three brand new tracks. And they have invited guests: actress Meret Becker, The Subways and Udo Jürgens. A special kind of a "Best of", a must-see for any fan!

Since it was founded in Barcelona in 2015 by ten female wind musicians, the Balkan Paradise Orchestra has established itself in a field traditionally reserved for men. These ten Spanish artists deliver a refreshing performance combining traditional Balkan fanfare and dance music and have already toured at festivals all over the world. Here they thrill the audience at Nuremberg's Bardentreffen in 2025.

Rami Be'er's Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company opened proceedings with a large scale piece, Foramen Magnum, which showed off the physical talents of his company well. Childish needs were served by having much of the early action take place inside a transparent "bouncy castle"; later it matures on to a large inflatable mattress, on which a delicately erotic duet was played out. Around these, the large corps de ballet occupied itself with a set of curious collapsible wooden props, used sometimes for ploughing and sometimes as beach chairs. Some imaginative dance was not well served by lighting which made it difficult to watch the dancers' feet, ugly costumes which hampered their movement, and a constantly jarring choice of ill-assorted music which ranged from Dowland to "Send in the Clowns".
