The New Wave band were quickly rising to national fame, and they were still touring with the original lineup which consisted of frontman Fred Schneider (who in this set’s liner notes is credited as playing both the glockenspiel and “various toys”), Cindy Wilson, Ricky Wilson, Kate Pierson and Keith Strickland.

Former Small Faces drummer Kenny Jones and keyboardist Tim Gorman join guitar-god Pete Townshend, lead singer Roger Daltrey and bassist John Entwistle onstage. Selections include "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," "Squeeze Box" and more.

On June 4, 1981 Prince staged a concert at Théâtre Le Palace in the City Of Lights. The show featured seven of the eight songs that appeared on the 1980 LP Dirty Mind as well as a few off his 1979 self-titled LP. The Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Tour was a tour that was undertaken to pay tribute to the original band members who died in a plane crash in 1977. The tour began in the fall of 1987, in honor of the 10-year anniversary of the plane crash. A number of surviving members reunited for the tour. Original members Gary Rossington, Billy Powell and Leon Wilkeson were joined by Ed King (original member who had left the band in 1975), Artimus Pyle (drummer at the time of the plane crash), Randall Hall and Johnny Van Zant.

In this program, a wealthy and famous, but not terribly successful, film actress of the 1930s, Adela Shannon, suddenly becomes a widow when her husband is accidentally killed by a moving sightseeing bus. Due to a suit to contest her husband's will, Shannon is left penniless. She devises a means to keep herself in the standard of living to which she has grown accustomed: Shannon intends to blackmail her three ex-husbands with a book written by her sister, Bill. The book contains information none of her former spouses would want made public. Meanwhile, Bill thinks that it would be better to publish the book instead. Unfortunately, she decides this after Shannon has placed the manuscript in her safe. Luckily for Bill, however, Shannon's butler is an expert thief who happens to know a thing or two about breaking into safes.

It turned out to be the last time the Smiths were on stage together, bar a few TV appearances. This was the only time “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others”, “Shoplifters Of The World Unite” and the “London”/”Miserable Lie” medley were ever performed by them.

In 1971, at the Ukrtelefilm studio, director Roman Oleksiv made the musical film Chervona Ruta in the town of Yaremche (Carpathians). 10 years later, a follow-up film was released with the same performers.

With music by The Cardboards, The Shakes, Hans Brinker and The Dykes. By combining semi-fictionalized and documentary material, this film is as definitive a record of the Pittsburgh punk scene during its nascent underground as anyone could hope for. Beroes' band footage is radical departure from the gimmickry of stereotyped rock band documentary in its use of pans and slow dollys, capturing small glimpses of the musicians at work that a 'PR' film would have avoided at all costs. The cinematography demands a reconsideration of the rock band documentary's hoary technical vocabulary. From the time this film was made changes have already taken place in Pittsburgh punk-dom as the bands have moved from an insular salon society to more 'legitimate' venues. Some say things are better than ever, others mourn the passing of Pittsburgh punk's innocence. Beroes in Debt Begins at 20 has produced not only entertainment, but also a small and very precious time capsule.

This documentary was made by Martin Strothoff on Helter Skelter Records in 1989. It features footage from several live gigs that Youth of Today played on their 1989 European tour along with a German interview that aired on regional television. "I organized and booked the Y.O.T. + Lethal Aggression DIY tour on my own and accompanied them as a driver. Three of my best sandbox friends accompanied me on the long 89 DIY tour as drivers and rowdies. It was a chaotic tour in many moments and a beautiful experience that I would not want to miss. If I had actually produced, supported or released the Halter Skelter - Bootleg "Live in Vienna" or this "European Tour Dokumentars - 1989", at least I had spelled my name correctly. During the tour I had neither means nor possibilities to record or film the concerts. (In 1989 there were no iPhones yet!) "Helter Skelter Records" is not known to me either."

I Vespri Siciliani must me Verdi's most underrated masterpiece. Most people are put off by the fact that it has 5 acts, therefore they conclude that it must be incredibly long. It is long but not as long as some people may fear as most of the acts are under half an hour each. The total length of the DVD in question is 171 minutes, just under 3 hours, including titles at the beginning, applauses and curtain calls between the acts and at the end. The opera contains Verdi's most powerful overture and a number of very elegant arias, duets and ensembles for the principals.

This concert was recorded live on the final night of his 27-performance tour, before 11,000 people in the Sydney Entertainment Centre on December 14, 1986.

Farmer and her lover sat in the middle of a desolate, barren landscape on a grim cloudy day. As a snake slithers nearby, the pair cut their palms and rub their hands together to mix their blood.
