The Waldbühne in Berlin, one of the most appealing outdoor amphitheatres on the European continent, is the home of the Berliner Philharmoniker's summer concerts. With over 22.000 in attendance, they are some of the most popular classical music concerts in the world. This year the outstanding orchestra under the baton of Neeme Järvi take us on a trip to arabian "Thousand and One Nights", with soloist Janine Jansen, a rising star who quickly gained the reputation of one of the foremost young violinists on the international concert stages.

One of the benefits of a great live performance DVD is that it captures the artist at a specific point in time, age, experience and creative output. Paul Weller Live at the Royal Albert Hall does just that. Filmed in 2000, he is backed by longtime associates Steve White on drums and Steve Cradock on guitar, plus Edgar Jones on bass and Chris Holland on keyboards. Also on hand are Robert Kirby and a 16-piece string orchestra, accompanying the band on most songs. The performances are tight and the production quality is excellent.

The presenter and interviewer was Mariella Frostrup and the program was shown on Channel 4 and Film 4 in early 2003 when the film was generally released in the U.K.

Live Parc des Princes Paris (2008) is Mika's second live album. It is a one-off stadium show with a crowd of 55,000 recorded at Paris on 4 July 2008. The DVD also features a documentary following the initial idea of the show through to the production. The G3 2007 tour featured Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci and Joe Satriani. Shows were held from March 14 to April 14. At the last show of the tour during the song "Glasgow Kiss" Paul Gilbert's band came out wearing kilts and did a small dance. The G3 Jam featured Johnny A. at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA.
