The charming "chewing gum chanson" is based on the jazz standard "I Fall In Love Too Easily" by Jule Styne (music) and Sammy Cahn (lyrics), which was released in 1944 and became famous mainly through Chet Baker's interpretation.

1665. Louis XIV has seen fit to send a gift to the New World: surplus women to bring succor and support to French settlers in what is now Quebec. 30 years in the making, the film Jan Terri: No Rules tells the story of an irrepressible, and often delightfully perplexing personality. As a child, Jan would dance and sing for anyone who would listen. As a teenager, she began writing and performing her own songs. After earning her BA in Arts and Entertainment Management, she continued making music while working full-time as a limo driver. The income from that job allowed her to hire a studio as well as a videographer to help her make her unorthodox DIY music videos and distributing them on VHS tape. Without her knowledge, her videos made their way to the nascent YouTube. The fact that her most popular YouTube video was given the title “Worst Music Video Ever” didn’t dampen her spirit. Her fanbase grew to include such luminaries as Marilyn Manson and Cynthia Plaster Caster. Over the years, Jan’s independent spirit attracted many collaborators who’ve helped bring her vision to life.

Latin pop duo Ha*Ash comes to Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional for a concert that gets us moving with the sounds of their latest album, Haashtag.

The first gigs of the tour were announced on August 19th, 2022. Four gigs were announced in total, all in the UK and all outdoor stadium gigs. As expected, more tour dates were announced throughout the following months, leading up to the tour itself. Bellamy mentioned, in an interview with Zane Lowe in August of 2022, that the tour is planned to take place between January and November of 2023, starting in Mexico, continuing in the U.S. and Canada, Asia and finishing in Europe. Werchter Festivalpark gig was announced on October 21st, 2022. Muse headlined the 2023 Rock Werchter festival, together with Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stromae.

January, this year, saw the release of Belfast harpist Úna Monaghan's debut album Aonaracht. Coming from the traditional Irish music background, it finds the musician, composer and Gaeilgeoir expanding beyond her native hinterland to explore the possibilities that might arise by combining the latest technological tools with the element of chance. Her journey is captured from its onset in August 2021. Along the way she is joined by a variety of collaborators, amongst them, Iarla Ó Lionaird, Kevin Murphy, Paddy Glackin, Saileog Ní Cheannabháin, Pauline Scanlon and Jack Talty.

In 1990, Eric Clapton performed 18 nights at one of his favourite venues - the famous Royal Albert Hall in London. During the 18 run of shows, Clapton performed with three different line-ups: a rock band, a blues band, and an orchestra. Eric returned to the same venue in 1991 with the same three line-ups and played a further 24 shows. The huge undertaking of rehearsing for performances of three distinctly different genres was made even more challenging by the line-up for the rock shows varying from 4, 9 or 13 band members.

What turned a fan into the killer of the man he adored? Composer Ivo Josipović - and none other than Croatia’s former President - has had a very rich musical career alongside one in politics. He has written over 50 chamber music pieces for various instruments, chamber orchestra and symphony orchestra as well as serving as director of the contemporary music festival, Music Biennale Zagreb. The fate of John Lennon has intrigued the composer and with librettist Marina Biti, the pair have created an opera built around the last days of the Beatle, the people who were important to him and a psychological profile of his murderer. For the world premiere at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, the conductor is Ivan Josip Skender and director Marina Pejnović.

This doc pays loving tribute to free-form radio and WHFS’s influence over FM stations across the US from the 1960s to the 1980s. All good things come to an end, and so did the disc-jockey-driven format that WHFS pioneered and made successful, but its legacy lives on. The station’s DJs relate its history with passion in this film that captures the tenor of an era, abetted by reminiscences of performers including Emmylou Harris, Taj Mahal, Jesse Colin Young, and others whose music found its way to ears and minds eager for something more than the same old Top 40 programming.
