The cheerful fairy tale takes us to the first category of hell, inhabited by mischievous devils, and the second category of hell with dirty devils. And this is where the village youth Kája Fousek falls as punishment for his arrogance... The devils decide to correct him. But one of them falls in love with Kája, and he falls in love with her.

The plot is based on the Korean folk tale, The Tale of Chunhyang. Chunhyang falls in love with the upper-class Ri Mong-ryong, but they must marry in secret. Mong-ryong is sent away to become a government official. While he is away, Chunhyang is imprisoned by a corrupt governor. Mong-ryong returns just in time to save her from execution and the two can publicly proclaim their love.

Indu and Shekar Gupta are an exemplary couple with a young son, who live a harmonious lower middle class life despite of spiraling inflation and costs of living. Their love and respect for each other is put to the test when Shekar's parents, and his unmarried sister decide to move in with them in their tiny apartment. Shekar's income is not enough to take care of their extended family, and to make matters worse, Shekar loses his job. Indu and Shekar decide that Indu must find employment, which she does, much to the dismay of her in-laws. Things get worse when Shekar's dad, Raghunath, witnesses Indu in the company of a male in a fancy restaurant, and thinks that she is having an affair. When told about this incident, Shekar shakes his head with disbelief, then changes his mind when he finds out that Indu has not only being going out with another male, but also with her boss, Mr. Dutt. Shekar must now make a decision about Indu, a decision which may well bring their marriage to an end.

The 20th Anniversary Concert: Live at the London Astoria 18th May 1989

The film is about the band Stockholms Negrer, but also about what formed their music, about being Swedish but still being viewed as an outsider.

After failing to beat Rhoma in both music and women, Ramlan uses other cunning tricks. He does a duet with Camelia Malik aka Mia that is a huge success even though she is dating Rhoma. Ramlan proposes to his producer, Niko, to draw Mia out of their rival record company. Niko agrees with him. Hence, Ramlan gets his girlfriend Maya, who is addicted to drugs, to seduce Rhoma, and to drug Rhoma’s drink. When Rhoma is unconscious, Maya and Rhoma are photographed together in bed. The images are distributed to the newspapers, where it becomes a huge gossip. Then Mia is drawn to Niko’s company. Maya, who truly loves Ramlan, catches him in the act when Ramlan is about to rape Mia. Maya reveals the secret to Mia. Meanwhile, Rhoma, who is devastated, withdraws to his teacher’s place. There he is advised to change his name and start again from zero. Rhoma’s new persona is Zulfikar and he successfully receives a recording contract from Niko for his vocal similarities with Rhoma.

The resourceful rural tailor Vincas offers the wealthy but tight-fisted landowner Antanas to lend his impoverished neighbor a couple of thousand rubles and in return get his daughter Agota as a wife with a large dowry. This somber story of love lost forever is set against the backdrop of the changes that Communism brought to the state of Georgia in the former USSR after the 1917 Revolution. Eva and Archil are deeply in love and they pledge to be with each other always. After they marry, Archil dies suddenly and Eva is left alone and childless. Along comes the ruthless Spiridon who romances Eva and marries her - though his cold and cruel spirit break Eva's naturally buoyant self, until she sullenly eats alone, and avoids intimacy with her husband as much as possible. They adopt a daughter, who does not take sides between her glum mother and silent father. When the Communist cadres enter their village to promote the ideals of the October revolution, Eva starts to warm to her husband a little because he joins in that movement. Then her husband commits the fatal error of revealing a previous crime - an error that will later cause their grown daughter to question her parents' strange behavior.

Swissair (Jari Härkönen, Pietari Koskinen, Mikko Kuusaari, Anton Nikkilä, Juha Soivio and Mika Taanila) were formed in the early 80s.
