Gautier Capuçon, voyage musical

Gautier Capuçon celebrates the fifth edition of his festival "Un Eté en France" with a new series of free outdoor concerts. For this new edition, the cellist is inviting back winners who have participated in previous tours. It's an opportunity to see how these young musicians have developed in the early stages of their careers. Sharing, transmission, emotions, discoveries, unusual moments, and behind-the-scenes glimpses are all on the agenda for this new summer tour. An inspiring journey through authentic French towns and villages: in the Var region in Signes, in Corsica in Porto-Vecchio then Bastia, in the Périgord region in Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix, then in Rivesaltes in the Pyrénées-Orientales for an exceptional finale with Schubert's Octet.

A Little Nightmare Music

The concert begins. The music is sublime. Not even a pin would dare drop. Suddenly, a cellphone rings and the madness starts. The pianist loses his hand, the violinist, while tuning, falls asleep, and later wakes up in the middle of a motorway, transformed into a “Riverdancer”. When the pianist returns, the piano is locked, telling him to insert his credit card. Meanwhile, the violinist loses his bow to a vacuum cleaner and his partner just talks on the phone while reading a paper, eating, and, playing the piano upside down all at the same time. These and many other “nightmares” unfold before audiences’ eyes and ears. “A Little Nightmare Music” is a unique show, full of virtuosity, enchanting music and zany, outrageous humour. Ideal for audiences aged 8 to 88, this show is sure to captivate you and crack you up whether you’re a classical music enthusiast or the type who runs for cover, at the mere mention of Mozart.

Laura Bachman: Trouble With Marion Barbeau and Félix Kysyl

With Trouble, choreographer Laura Bachman, dancer Marion Barbeau, and actor Félix Kysyl explore the boundaries of touch and male-female relationships, between violence and emancipation. Trouble, Laura Bachman's first choreographic film, explores with great intensity all the paradoxes of physical contact. In this hybrid work inspired by the show Ne Me Touchez Pas, the body is not only an instrument of movement, but a battlefield, a space where domination, resistance, and then rebirth are played out. At the heart of this film is a duo formed by Marion Barbeau, prima ballerina at the Paris Opera and actress revealed by Cédric Klapisch's En Corps, and Félix Kysyl, actor nominated for a César Award in 2025 in the category of Best Male Newcomer for Miséricorde. These two protagonists give substance to a literally visceral performance, where skin, gazes, and breath invade everything.

Guitar, a six-stringed weapon

Inexpensive, expressive, nomadic, the guitar almost merges with the body of its musician to turn into a formidable weapon of protest. Brandished, swung, even burned, she carries the voice of the fight against oppression. From Woody Guthrie to Jimi Hendrix via Bob Dylan, the fascinating story of the musical rebellion is told here through the story of his sword. Blues, punk rock, rock'n'roll,... All genres are in the spotlight to tell the tumultuous epic, intimately linked to the history of American protest, of the most played instrument in the world. A poignant and moving documentary in the testimonies of its icons and most faithful servants: Wayne Kramer (MC5), Keziah Jones, Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Judy Collins and Clementine Creevy (Cherry Glazerr).

Our Days, Absolutely, Have to Be Enlightened

A documentary experiment of great emotional power, about freedom and the strength of human affective bonds. We witness a concert given by the inmates of a prison in Orléans. Yet, they remain unseen, beyond the prison walls, all along the film, while the camera looks at those who listen to the music outside, in front of the prison. Silent emotions, the rapt faces of the listeners, humming along the prisoners, and their unrevealed personal histories, form a human gallery of potential stories, born out of the viewer's imagination.

Furies

The efficiency of Hard Rock, the power of Heavy Metal, the spirit of Thrash. This is how we could sum up Furies’s approach and whose first album, which was released at the fall of 2020, will surely aim at the heart and guts of the Metal audience as a whole. The recipe has been proven and we know it works devilishly well. From the hymnic « You & I » and « Voodoo Chains » to more complex « Fortune’s Gate » or raging « Unleash The Furies », Furies distils a real Heavy Metal method in 10 lessons. No need to reinvent the wheel to make it roll far, fast and right : if the Parisian four-piece cannot deny old school heavy metal masters’s influence (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden), they add a touch of undeniable freshness and a resolutely contemporary production, coming from prestigious Labomatic (Paris) and Domination (Italy) studios.
