Through our trials, art speaks. Art saves. Most importantly, art heals. We have spent the last couple years in collaberation w/ Jeff Ray as he documented the struggles of what it means to be artists in America. There has been struggle and immense beauty as we have learned to rid ourselves of ego and have given our full selves to making the most genuine art we can to help impact the people of this beautiful world. May this documentary encourage you to create art in this time of global uncertainty. We love you and are grateful for you.

The Human Voice: A Story for Our Times

The Human Voice is a contemporary adaptation of the 1928 stage play by Jean Cocteau, and "La Voix Humaine," the 1958 chamber opera by Francis Poulenc. In a radically new production The Human Voice presents a flip of gender, and a metaphor of global pandemic. Now in English, Isaiah Bell sings to his male lover, and into the abyss of COVID. In a Zoom call impaired by lag and freeze and dropped signals, technology is once again enemy to intimacy. The agony of failed love is heightened by the necessity of distance, by the anaesthetic of the machine.

The Demo World Premiere Bing Concert Hall 2015

World premiere of "The Demo," a music theater work written by composer/performers Mikel Rouse and Ben Neill based on Douglas Engelbart’s historic 1968 demonstration of early computer technology. Engelbart’s 1968 demo rolled out virtually everything that would define modern computing; videoconferencing, hyperlinks, networked collaboration, digital text editing, and something called a “mouse.” The Demo re-imagines Engelbart’s historic demonstration as a technologically-infused music theater piece, a new form of hybrid performance.
