Farinelli

A convent in Naples is home to several secular residents, much to the dismay of the prioress. The convent is to be the setting for a musical performance featuring the famous opera singer Farinelli. The young and beautiful Inez has been placed in the convent by her ambitious father and is to sing a part with Farinelli. For the occasion, she wears the precious jewels of Saint Cecilia. But outside Naples, a pirate ship is anchored, and the pirates have secretly mingled with the churchgoers.

Although completely mimed, the bands energy is absolutely electrifying as the storm through their set list in front of a studio audience of screaming teenagers complete with go-go dancers and pop idol Billy Thorpe to compère. Special guests of the program included Janice Slater performing her then current release ‘We’re Doin’ Fine’ with it’s flip side ‘If You Don’t Think’ and Tony Worsley with ‘Raining in My Heart’ and ‘Knocking On Wood’ (released that month on Sunshine).

Beggar of Love

A pop singer with a good heart and a lot of achievements, Manos, tenderly loves an orphan anthopolida, Annoula, which works several years in the center singing Manos, in order to finish high school. When he decides to leave Daisy's mistress and marry Anna, the girl's natural father, who was missing seventeen years in Canada, intervenes and claims her. He tries to redeem her stepfather and mistress, Mr Spyros, who, however, refuses. Anna is following her natural father in Thessaloniki. Mr. Spiros is in danger of dying from his fortune, and Manos gets sick by losing his voice. But everything is corrected by the return of the girl and the revelation that her father suddenly remembered it because she intended to put in the money her mother left.

The two-part film "Noon in Tunisia" by Peter Lilienthal is a meeting of jazz and Arabic music at various public or open-air venues in Tunisia. Under the direction of George Gruntz, European and US jazz musicians play his suite-like composition "Maghreb Cantata", which is based on original Bedouin dances, together with Arab performers. The highlight is the Fazani, a rhythm of Bedouin tribes from the desert region of the Libyan-Tunisian border. The recording took place from 5.5. - 24.5.1969 in and around Tunis.

The film tells the story of a man who is abandoned by his wife and tries to win her forgiveness. The famous actor Şükrü's fondness for women causes his wife to leave him. Şükrü falls into a deep loneliness in his wife's absence. Over time, he begins to lose his fame. In a moment of despair, he meets his friend Rıfkı. Rıfkı offers to organize an Anatolian tour for Şükrü. They quickly assemble a team and set off on the tour. This tour will be an opportunity for Şükrü to win back his wife and his fame.

A young man tries to enter the building of the Mammoth Cybernetic Supermachines Research Institute again and again but each time the doorkeeper spots him and kicks him out. The youth finally arrives with all his friends and a huge live bear from the circus where he works as an accountant. He is finally allowed in where he explains to the members of the directorate that he wants to work at the Institute, since he graduated in cybernetics and, besides, he has invented a machine for forecasting time of death. When the conniving research manager learns that their director is going to die in two days, he hopes to rise to his position.

The Marriage of Convenience

Joanna, the daughter of quite wealthy traders from the Różycki bazaar, is in love with Andrzej, a young, talented, but poor painter. However, the girl's father, Kazimierz Burczyk, decides to find a suitable husband for her himself. A shrewd tradesman, unwilling to disclose his income, searches for a candidate whose professional position would justify his possession of a villa, a car and many other material possessions. In the end, his choice falls on Andrew, who is unsuccessfully trying to sell paintings under the walls of Warsaw's Barbican.
