Julian Cabeza is a rock musician who released his first album at the turn of the century, which became cult over time. Of a selfish and difficult character, he has moved away from the public light; his blows to the ego and his fear of failure have led him to complete musical silence. All of the above has meant that his 20-year relationship with Aline, his great love, is almost in total ruin. Isolated in his cabin on the coast, he will meet a couple in their twenties - Isabel and Dario - who carry their own conflicts and doubts. "Nostalgia of Everything", the second short film experiment in the Experimental Test trilogy, blends fragments of the director’s personal past with newly filmed material. As with the first entry in the trilogy (Days, Months, Years and Nothing Else), all visuals were filmed quickly using a phone camera, under natural light, without any formal setup. The monologue was written during post-production, crafted to emotionally resonate with the imagery and the atmosphere shaped by the non-original soundtrack, Mystery Man by Terje Rypdal.

In addition to his studio albums, Konstantin Gropper has created the music for three episodes of the German series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). He also contributed to the soundtrack of Detlev Buck's film A Very Bad Plan (2020). His cinematic streak made his band the ideal candidate to rock the Berlinale.
