Christmas Eve. A poor orphan boy trudges through the snow, pathetically. He finally arrives at his miserable cabin. While he is crying, Santa arrives and, singing the title song, offers to take the boy to his workshop. They arrive, and the toys go wild. He plays with a few toys. A candle falls off the tree and starts a fire. The toys try in vain to fight the fire; the boy hooks up a hose to a set of bagpipes and takes care of it.

A tour of the state of Maine with comic undertones: "modern" tree cutting, lobster fishing and moose hunting. In Bar Harbor, the boats get plastered after being filled up with their choice of gin, rum and rye. The "Lobster Pot" nightclub has a "one fin" cover charge. "The Stein Song" is included as a singalong.

Chronology pulls together live performances from across Talking Heads' career. It starts with their earliest days at CBGB and The Kitchen in New York City in the mid-seventies, through their breakthrough years in the late seventies and on to global success in the eighties. They completed their last tour in 1983 although they would continue to make very successful albums throughout the eighties before officially breaking up in 1991. The DVD concludes with their "reunion" performance of "Life During Wartime" on their induction into the Rock `n' Roll Hall Of Fame in 2002.

This live recording is a true gem for Zappa fans. It features acrobatic muscianship of the highest order played straight from the heart and mind. Mike Keneally's guitar work left my jaw slack especially after hearing him play Jazz Discharge Party Hats in which he both talks and doubles his vocal pitches with the guitar at the same time. Additionally he plays Zappa's impossible synclavier composition Night School with pin point accuracy. Steve Vai, guitar god and the king of impossible guitar parts gives a burning heartfelt rendition of Zappa's Sofa. This is one of Vai's best performances captured on disc.

"The E.N.D. World Tour" is a concert tour by American hip hop group, The Black Eyed Peas. The tour supports the group's fifth studio album, The E.N.D., which was released in June 2009. It is the group's biggest tour production-wise to date, with the group's female vocalist Fergie stating that they are "trying to up [their] game" and the shows will "utilize a lot of the technology that's out there".

An African-American musical version of Sophocles's tragedy, Oedipus at Colonus. In 1985 PBS televised the original Brooklyn Academy of Music production, as presented by the American Music Theater Festival at the Annenberg Center in Philadelphia, as part of the Great Performances series.

Beloved teacher Miss Hinklefink inherits a western ranch, and to spend the summer with Professor Townley, she invites students Freddie, Dodie, Betty, Lee and Roy to join if Townley will co-chaperone. Sketchy real-estate agent Tom Sneed tries to persuade her to send the kids home when desperadoes rob the bank. Sneed's henchman mistakes Freddie for a baby-faced killer framed for a murder actually committed by Sneed, and ranch foreman Big Jim, also working for Sneed, tries to kill Freddie.

Filmed in 1983 at Las Vegas's Tropicana Hotel and hosted by Diahann Carroll and Richard Kiley, this variety special features a star-studded cast. Performers include Kiley, who sings his show-stopping rendition of "The Impossible Dream," and Tony Award winner Patti LuPone, who belts out "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." Steve Allen, Jayne Meadows, Roberta Peters, impressionist Rich Little and mime duo Shields & Yarnell also make appearances.
