In early 2010 the Alloy Orchestra was commissioned an original score, based on a musical setting drawn on a 3-foot long sheet of squared notebook paper. Its operating principle was a fixed tempo - 60 beats per minute - to be strictly followed by the musicians throughout the piece. Within this grid, the performers were given complete freedom to determine the timbre, the volume and the sequence of themes to be chosen for their work. Two artists - a drummer and a draughtsman - listened to the recording of the music without any knowledge of the instructions provided for its creation. Unbeknownst to each other, both were given the task of playing along with their respective instruments: one with a drum in front of a camera, the other with pen, brushes, ink and colored pigments on 35mm film strips. The footage was assembled and edited in strict adherence to the criteria adopted for the music. The Alloy Orchestra was then asked to accompany the film with their own score

Tit for tat, but the barrier comes from Surya (Ferry Ardiansyah), son of batik trader (Kadir), which likes Dewi also. Dewi’s mother also does not want her daughter to have a husband from poor families.

The film traces Sam McKinlay’s early days as a punk skateboarder through his academic development as a conceptual artist into a highly esteemed noise practitioner whose work bridges the gap between the gallery world and the sleaze of exploitation film imagery. It documents the physical processes of his work and the distillation of visuals into sound, most notably addressing the appeal of abstraction—from the cheap effects of old monster movie makeup to the ‘masks’ created by the heavy cosmetic makeup of 1920s flapper culture and actresses like Pamela Stanford in Jess Franco’s Lorna the Exorcist (The Rita has albums or EPs named after several eurotrash actresses, including The Nylons of Laura Antonelli (2009) and Monica Swinn/Pamela Stanford (2016)).

The Marshmallow Ghosts, Graveface Records' Halloween band, presents this omnibus of spooky music videos centered around a hearse tour company in Savannah, Georgia. The guide, Louis, recounts various Savannah ghost stories and legends to his seemingly lone patron, Paige. Her bizarre and dazzling visions make up the individual music videos, tied together by Louis' storytelling. "Hearse Song" sees a man at work being harassed by unseasonable trick-or-treaters. He meets an untimely, sugary end. "The Attic" features a little girl's psychedelic decomposition. A pig farmer and his brother perform at a carnival in "Pigman's Bridge," with grave results. A witchy fantasy for "Trick" takes a turn for the demonic. In "Wait for the Day," a lengthy hospital stay gives new meaning to "vegetative state." The hearse tour ends at a ghastly soiree for the video "White Satin Gown," where Paige immediately senses something is amiss.

Former Take That member Gary Barlow captured live in performance in his home town of Manchester in December 2012. The show formed part of Barlow's first UK solo tour in over 12 years and saw him joined onstage by stars including Mark Owen, JLS, Nicole Scherzinger and James Corden. Directed by Laurent Pelly, the National Opera in Lyon stages this musical comedy about a man suspected of murdering his wives. Hortense Schneider originally played Boulotka, a village girl who reforms Bluebeard. Yann Beuron and Héloise Mas star, with Christophe Gay as the alchemist Popolani.
