"Focul Viu" is especially valuable because of the fact that it presents Negura Bunget in its classic line-up of Hupogrammos, Sol Faur, and Negru. As the band is probably never going to perform in this line-up again, "Focul Viu" is a must-have for every fan of Negura Bunget who didn't have a chance to witness the band live before their split. "Focul Viu" is available as DVD, 2CD, and as a box-set including both formats.

From their early formation in Philadelphia’s underground music scene, to their business partnership with a local, independent record label, filmmaker Justin J. Jackson’s documentary Rosetta: Audio/Visual chronicles the musical accomplishments, monetary struggles, and intimate friendships of blue-collar, do-it-yourself, post-metal band Rosetta. Every album is a creative milestone, each tour a test of faith. Four years in the making, Rosetta: Audio/Visual tells the story of emotional and material sacrifice made by an electronics technician, high school civics teacher, coffee shop barista, and martial arts instructor in order to achieve financial control and artistic freedom.

Born poor in Baltimore, Chick Webb broke his back as a boy and faced life as a hunchback dwarf afflicted with Spinal Tuberculosis. Someone suggested drumming as physical therapy, and Webb found his calling: at only 16 he built the hottest jazz orchestra in America at Harlem’s Savoy Ballroom, one of the rare places where Blacks and Whites could socialize together. The artists discovered and mentored by Webb are extraordinary, but perhaps no star shines brighter than that of Ella Fitzgerald. Features interviews with those who knew or played with Webb and period footage.

Icelandic artist and musician Ragnar Kjartansson’s often intensely durational performance-based works manifest a rare synthesis of pathos and humor. A Lot of Sorrow is both a music video and an extended concert film, in which Brooklyn-based band the National performs its three-and-a-half minute ballad “Sorrow” on repeat for six hours. The band’s music and lyrics frequently conjure notions of romantic suffering and melancholy—themes common to Kjartansson’s emotive, theatrical work. As the hours pass and fatigue sets in, the musicians subtly alter their song; the original track is always recognizable but is also shown to be elastic and expressive rather than rigid. Kjartansson is sometimes visible in the role of roadie, offering water and food to the performers throughout the concert. Multiple camera angles grant the viewer access to both the perspective of the musicians and that of the audience, as the band and the crowd feed off each other’s energy with every repetition.

New York Hardcore was undergoing a transition at the end of the 80's & this generational shift was exemplified by the bands that were featured on the compilation.The story of the tape is at heart the story of NYC & kids that grew up in it's five boroughs as well as related outposts in Long Island/Yonkers. A unique set of social/economic circumstances during the 70's & 80's forged the individuals that went on to make up the New York Hardcore scene. This full length documentary profiles band members/fanzine editors/record label heads & fans that made up this vibrant scene with narration by NYHC book author Tony Rettman. It's unheard of for a feature film to focus on an outdated analog format like a cassette compilation but it is through the eyes of these individuals that a spotlight is shined onto those tumultuous times & what is ultimately a tribute to a bygone era.

Anitta may be showing her "Show das Poderosas" on Multishow. In addition to being one of the attractions at the 2013 Multishow Awards in September, the singer will present her show on the channel on August 17th, broadcast live on TV and online from Florianópolis. Part of the "Show das Poderosas" tour, which debuted in June in Rio de Janeiro, the performance in the capital of Santa Catarina will take place at Devassa On Stage, on Jurerê-Internacional beach. It will be a complete show, with sets, dancers and the entire repertoire of the CD released by the singer in early July. All of this will start at 7:00 p.m.

"Do Ventre à Volta" is a short documentary directed by Brazilian rock singer Pitty in partnership with photographer and filmmaker Otavio Sousa. Released on March 19, 2018, the film captures an important chapter in the artist's life: her emotional and professional return to the stage at the João Rock festival in June 2017, after a year-and-a-half hiatus following the birth of her daughter, Madalena, in August 2016.
