Boom-a-Bang: 50 Years of Eurovision is an one hour documentary that aired on BBC One on 16 May 2006. The programme celebrates 50 years of the Eurovision Song Contest and was presented and narrated by long serving Eurovision commentator Terry Wogan including a guest appearance from the UK representative for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, Daz Sampson, as well as archive footage from previous UK and other entries.

The trio of operas offers a panorama of emotions, with the dark and foreboding Il tabarro and comic Gianni Schicchi bookending a heart-wrenching Suor Angelica.

After a 13 year hiatus, X-Ray Spex reunited for a single show at the Roundhouse, London on Sept. 6, 2008. Unlike some of the "we're only in it for the money" reunions, X-Ray Spex are in great form. The twenty-track set includes almost the entirety of Germ Free Adolescents ("Plastic Bag" is the only track not played) and Poly Styrene's voice has held up exceptionally well given that Germ Free Adolescents was released thirty years ago. Other songs include three tracks from X-Ray Spex's 2005 reunion Conscious Consumer along with one new and previously unreleased track "Bloody War".

PRELIMINARY EVENINING OF THE RING CYCLE. Upon the banks of the ageless river Rhine, the Rhinemaidens play. Alberich, a Nibelung dwarf, tries vainly to seduce one of them. To taunt him, they reveal their secret: out of the gold they guard one can forge a Ring to rule the world, but at the cost of giving up Love forever. Alberich steals the gold, makes the ring and plans his world take-over. Meanwhile, Wotan, King of the Gods, must figure out how to finance the construction of Valhalla. He has promised his sister-in-law as payment to the giant construction workers led by Fafner, but his wife Fricka disapproves. Loge (God of Fire) tricks Alberich and brings him to Wotan, who takes the Ring. In revenge Alberich curses it: lack of the Ring will fuel desire for it and possession will only lead to misery. Wotan gives the Ring to Fafner as ransom for Fricka's sister. Filmed at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus in June & July 1991.

The movie is a road movie where Triana's spirit is recalled across his friends, musicians, managers and admirers. Gonzalo García-Pelayo,the director, and his brother Javier, friend, discoverer and manager of TRIANA, have created this cinematographic project with the intention of honoring the mythical band. Their original songs will be use used as background to represent the spirit of 40 years ago when freedom and music were an important way of life.

In September 2011 R.E.M., the rock band from Athens, Georgia, decided to call it a day after 31 years. This collection from the BBC archives includes performances of Pretty Persuasion from the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1984, Orange Crush on Top of the Pops in 1989 and special acoustic versions of Losing My Religion and Half a World Away on The Late Show in 1991, along with performances on Later with Jools Holland and Parkinson. Endowed with a strong presence and a sensitive pen, Kery James quickly becomes the voice of a generation of young people from the suburbs who are aware that life and they themselves are deteriorating together. At the same time, he plays with fire within a gang of drug dealers and robbers. The murder of one of his friends prompts him to stop everything, both rap and the path of delinquency. Converted to Islam, he resumes rap as a missionary because he knows that his voice is influential.

Los Tres MTV Unplugged is an MTV Unplugged live acoustic album by Chilean rock band Los Tres, released on April 15, 1996, through Sony Music Chile. The album was the band's first live album as well as the first MTV Unplugged album ever released by a Chilean band. It was recorded on September 14, 1995, at Post Edge Studios, Miami, United States and features appearances from musicians Cuti Aste and Toño Restucci. The album contains eleven songs from their previous studio albums alongside the original song "Traje Desastre" and three cover versions of songs by Chilean musician Roberto Parra.

The film goes far beyond the concert stage and delves into the tension-filled space of rehearsals – where the sound is not yet fixed, but alive, fragile, and in the process of becoming. We experience a wealth of musical encounters in which a shared musical language begins to breathe. The focus is on works by influential composers such as Rebecca Saunders, Heiner Goebbels, and Mark Andre, alongside the vibrant voices of a younger generation, including Brigitta Muntendorf and Milica Djordjevic, in collaboration with conductors such as Vimbayi Kaziboni, Bas Wiegers, Ingo Metzmacher, and Enno Poppe. Each year, Ensemble Modern premieres around 70 works, continually venturing into uncharted sonic territories.

With their album The Cinnamon Show, Maciej Milewski and his group Cinnamon Gum pay tribute to 70s soul and reinvent it.

Opera confronts us with extremes of emotion, sometimes delivering unforgettable, life-changing experiences. Fuoro sacro (‘Sacred Fire’) seeks out singers who have the power to pierce our hearts, presenting three of them at work in the most intimate details of their rehearsals and preparations. Ermonela Jaho, Barbara Hannigan and Asmik Grigorian are watched closely as some of their secrets are revealed: how they inhabit their roles and transform words and notation on a page into that intangible but powerful magic being communicated to audiences from the opera stage. Over 90 minutes of extras are included featuring vocal warm-ups and live performances accompanied by pianists Evgenia Rubinova, Reinbert de Leeuw and Francesco Piemontesi.

The duo made up of musician and actress Julia de Castro and double bass player Miguel Rodrigáñez thus premieres their latest show, Exhalación: vida y muerte de De La Puríssima. With it, they intend to put an end to the ten-year revolution of EL CUPLÉ this scenic musical genre, which the singular tandem has merged with jazz, cumbia and electronics on stages around the world. Show nominated for the Premios Valle Inclán. As the duo explains, De La Puríssima was born in 2009 “as a transit project, in which music was the most direct and ritualistic medium from which to raise core issues such as sex, bullfighting, folklore or religion”. Now, a decade later, it is time to remove the peineta and celebrate the end of a stage in which the provocative lyrics by Julia de Castro have traveled through numerous audiences to bring up to date a genre that was in the forgetfulness of national folklore, the cuplé.

In a time of curfew, no freedom of expression and an official culture that fostered simpleton and absurd pop, young people in various places in Chile caused a spontaneous cry of disgust to germinate. The protest music against the dictatorship was monopolized by the Canto Nuevo groups until punk broke out. With interviews with members of Fiskales ad-hok, Dadá, Pinochet Boys and Políticos Muertos, among others, Pank responds to the need to recreate an aspect of our recent history, whose precariousness and effervescence prevented it from being documented at the time.
