Wotan's favorite daughter, Brunnhilde, sides with Siegmund, earning Wotan's unbridled anger. She manages to shelter the now-pregnant Sieglinde, though, before being banished forever from Valhalla to a mountaintop ringed by fire. Like its predecessor, producer Harry Kupfer's Barcelona production of Die Walküre is spare and symbolic.

Shot in HD on-location in Tokyo and Fukui, Japan, and New York City, USA, the film highlights Mosdell's rise from obscure expatriate bohemian poet to renowned lyricist for Japan's biggest band ever, Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO). The story is told through exclusive interviews. Tokyo itself also figures into the narrative as a major character, featuring copious clips of original footage from inside the city that inspires Mosdell's work.

Lulu is one of the most well-known Scottish singers thanks to her iconic hits including the 1964 hit cover of The Isley Brothers' song 'Shout'. After her success with 'Shout', Lulu went on to win the joint first place title on the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 with the track 'Boom Bang-A-Bang'. In 1993, Lulu appeared on Take That's iconic track 'Relight My Fire' which gave Lulu her first and only number one on the official UK music chart. Lulu was awarded an OBE in 2000 by the Queen for her services to music and it was upgraded to a CBE in 2021. Lulu was born as Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie, on Nov. 3, 1948, in Lennoxtown near Glasgow in Scotland.

It was this now legendary appearance at California Jam I that would expose Black Sabbath to many mainstream American television viewers via ABC-TV. The band appeared alongside such acts as Deep Purple, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Rare Earth, Seals & Crofts and The Eagles It was originally broadcast on ABC’s ‘Wide World in Concert’ series, which aired three songs from Sabbath on May 24th, 1974 – and later rebroadcast this segment in November ’74. This footage has never been commercially available, aside from one clip of “Children of The Grave”. The entire show was recorded as a soundboard audio, but apparently only these four songs were captured on video. Journeying across Varanasi, Lucknow, and Muzzafarpur in India, this documentary film traces the lost traditions and the culture of tawaifs (courtesans of North India), particularly through a song sung by Rasoolan Bai, "Lagat karejwa ma chot, phool gendwa na maar" and its lesser known, earlier version "Lagat jobanwa ma chot, phool gendwa na maar" (recorded in a 1935 Gramophone recording). Weaving the past with the present, the film spans between personal stories as it interacts with historical events, ultimately leading to the decline of a great art form.

The second television adaptation of Once Upon a Mattress was broadcast on December 12, 1972, on CBS. This production, videotaped in color, included original Broadway cast members Burnett, Gilford and White, and also featured Bernadette Peters as Lady Larken, Ken Berry as Prince Dauntless, Ron Husmann as Harry, and Wally Cox as The Jester. It was directed by Ron Field and Dave Powers. Again, several songs were eliminated and characters were combined or altered. Since the parts of the Minstrel and the Wizard were cut from this adaptation, a new prologue was written with Burnett singing "Many Moons Ago" as a bedtime story.

This DVD includes a live performance from the Wiltern in Los Angeles in 2004. Also included are Broll footage from 2003, mostly behind the scenes, possible live footage from Tokyo/Osaka, and video clips.

Green Day headlined the final day of Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago's Grant Park on Sunday, July 31st. The performance was part of their "Hella Mega Tour" and included a mix of classic hits and songs from their latest album. The setlist featured songs like "American Idiot", "Holiday", "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", and "Brain Stew". The show also included covers like "Rock and Roll All Nite" by KISS.

At 41 years old, the Quebecois conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin has established himself as one of the most gifted maestros of his generation, with numerous prestigious posts with some of the world’s greatest orchestras already under his belt, including the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra (music director), London Philharmonic Orchestra (principal guest conductor), and the Orchestre métropolitain de Montréal. One week before Nézet-Séguin's official nomination as music director of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in 2008, filmmaker Christiaan van Schermbeek met the maestro for the first time. The once-in-a-lifetime event inspired Schermbeek to begin this documentary project, giving us a fascinating glimpse into the life of a truly extraordinary individual.
